Ok.Whatever. Bama has trouble with a QB like Knight. And with a healthy team around him. If they play 10 times Bama wins it 9. Saturday is the one time Bama losses.

Saban will try to take away the run and play contain against Knight. Expect quite a few short and medium passing routes (Especially slants) to come open.

A&M's success will depend on how well they pick up the blitz and how accurate Knight is.

I can see some broken qb runs. they should run some zone read and option at practice this week

Knight creating something out of nothing is my biggest concern. I don't think they'll have very much success with a traditional running attack, but Knight is a legitimate threat.

Read option is Knight's bread and butter already. He's damn deceptive with the handoff.

Agree here (although Trayveon Williams seemingly gets better weekly and almost always breaks a big run in the 2nd half).

Alabama has given up 447yds on the ground in 7 games. We had a Heisman front runner held to like 70 yards last year. You are lucky if Knight makes it though 4 quarters without getting hurt.

Again, you may be right. I said your comment regarding our d-line depth was incorrect...because it was.

I assure you if all you are trying to do is rustle jimmies, you might as well try somewhere else.

Does anybody think aTm will be effective on the ground this week?

I got us rushing for about 140 to 160. 80 to 100 below our average but think this is the range we fall into this game.

I think to have a chance to win the Ags need to force Bama to respect the run threat and then play action works. If we aren't forcing LBs to pause then that ain't good. If we run for less than 100 then things have gone wrong and we are not in the game and passing all the time... very bad news for us.

Not many one dimensional teams fare well against better teams and against Bama it would be worse. We have to run the ball decently to have a shot. I think we have a good shot to make a game of this.

Bro, I'm not trying to stir the gumbo. Lol. But 3 of the 4 leading tacklers on your team are your DB's one LBer.

Cowboys had the number 1 rusher and green bay was the number 1 rush defense, you saw what happened last sunday.

Same thing will happen this saturday.

Lol, man... They have a legitimate RB. You have a QB that runs the ball. Unless that dudes name is Cam or Vince You got a real problem.

Bama runs the Read Option with Hurts.

Bama will have a better athlete in practice than Knight running those plays to practice against. Bama will be ready.

Bama has the defensive talent-speed-discipline to shut it down consistently. 100 yards is about the most I can see Tamu gaining on the ground, unless they have a long run on a busted play but they will not consistently be able to run the ball.

TAMU will need to be able to complete a high % of the jump ball throws vs our secondary.

Bama will hold Tamu to less than 400yds total offense and unless Bama turns the ball overultiple time then this game will be a 17+ point win. My prediction is 34 to 20.
