Strength on strength. Both tops in the conference. aTm #7 national running. Bama, #1 in stopping the run. Bama hasn't faced a rushing team like this. aTm hasn't faced a defense quite like this. Does anybody think aTm will be effective on the ground this week?

I don't know if we'll be effective or not, but I tend to think we'll be more effective than most seem to think. In truth, nobody really knows. We'll see.

Meh,, Arkie was running the ball well. Arkie had to throw it every down basically after the first qtr.

I think y'all's run defense is more formidable than our rushing attack (Knight zone read keepers notwithstanding).

If we have success on offense, I think it'll be more due to testing y'all's secondary, tbh.

A&M will get a couple of good runs in between a bunch of nothing.
They will have to pass to compete.

Agree with Tbird here. If A&M has sustained success moving the ball, I think it will be through the air.

Would imagine YPC and Total rushing yards will be well below our average. Hoping that our running game is efficient enough to give our defense and passing game a chance.

Yes. A&M will dominate on the ground.

I'd say the best rushing will be on broken pass plays, where Knight narrowly avoids a sack.

I hope so, we've got two great rushers and an O line that knows how to open a hole for them. We also have the best blocking receiver in CFB coming back who's been out injured, RSJ is critical to the run game.

aTm is going to have 2 loses this year. But it will be your best year in the SEC. So congrats on that in advance. We will play Alabama closer than The Aggies. The just don't have the chest in the trenches on the either side of the ball. Well, one defensive lineman. But, no depth. They will be punished in the 3rd quarter. With Bama coasting in the 4th.

LSU very well may play Bama closer than we do.

But this is incorrect. Our depth on the D-line is just fine.

I think A&M wins the game.Bama is due for a bad game and A& M is hungry.

and aTm has giving up the fewest sacks also. I am not questioning the talent or depth of aTm's line. Nor am I questioning that on Bama's dline. The old immovable object vs the unstoppable force question, so to speak.

You won't after Saturday. This is by far the best team Bama has faced.

Okay?

Alabama is worlds better then anybody A&M had faced.

You literally aren't making any points here besides wishing in a star.

I think your assessment was fair. Just responding to that specific comment. Our O-line has played really well due to good coaching. Bama may just be too much to handle. They will be the best front seven we have faced by far.

ETA: Peej, pls. You know how this normally turns out and were already fighting an uphill battle.
