Well, if you look at the entire sentence, I have a texas fan trashing Johnny football. There are others but they are not. I think it makes sense.

Ark, Auburn, Miz, UK, Tenn were truly pathetic this year. In Big 12, only KU was truly pathetic.

Those teams were pathetic in SEC play, but that doesn't make them pathetic. That group you just listed honestly has a better out of conference resume than the entire Big 12 and it's not particularly close.

Every single one of those 7-5 teams had a losing record in conference play.

Its not so much that the SEC is over-rated, but that there are more shitty teams than in B12. The SEC is stronger at the top, but worse at the bottom. Ark, Auburn, Miz, UK, Tenn were truly pathetic this year. In Big 12, only KU was truly pathetic.

Kent St was a tough OT loss away from going to a BCS game. Kentucky beat Kent St. by 30

When will you corn dogs realize the truth....

Other schools in Texas are jealous of us.

Best academics in the state,

Best looking women in the state,

Best college town in the state,

Most successful alumni in the state,

And about to over take t.u. as the #1 program in the state,

You would be jealous if you lived here.

That would be Rice

I'm not really sure about this one unless things have changed significantly since I graduated.

Thought Texas was better here. Or Rice?

Austin, by a mile. I've been to CS.

Most successful alumni in the state,

No way to quantify this. I'd say Rice maybe?

I'd have to look at the stats. I might get to it, later.

I don't know if they're jealous as much as just pure, unadulterated hate.

Rice does not even have a business school, and I would put our eng.-science kids against theirs any day of the week.

But I was talking major BCS schools.... not about some little 3,000 undergrad majority asian school like rice.

Also, Austin is a major city not a "college town" and its a strange hippy infested liberal hell hole.

I know Texas is pretty good academically. Anyhow, I have no horse in this game. Y'all might be better than them. I can't really say.

I'll take your word for it. That's what happens in a balanced league with a 9 game schedule.

I know it's just semantics, but Austin isn't a "college town". Lubbock is underrated, but it's way the frick out there and probably too big to qualify as well.

*Also, Tech has the hottest chicks. Everyone knows that.

Dude the Big 12 is about as balanced as the B10 or ACC, get out of here with that mess

Your conference sucked this year. They did horribly in OOC. There are literally 6 teams in the SEC that would be favored to win it.

You left out some key details.

yea if you want an STD.... Texas A&M and Texas State have the hottest girls.

But t-state is not a BCS school and is more like a community college than a major university.

I'm just speaking from experience. I found TCU to have the best talent. Thought Tech girls were trashy. And I found Austin to be the best place, college town or not. But to each his own I guess.

Only conference with 9 bowl eligible teams - most in history.
