That is quite possibly the dumbest retort ever from you.

In their defense, they didn't get a chance to play Mississippi State every year.

the fact that nearly everyone is highlighting Miles at #7 with the little just proves that everyone knows its a bullshite ranking.

1 went 5-6 against #1 SoS with last second losses to LSU and AU, the eventual NC 2. Meh 3. Mullen beat OM's greatest team ever in 09. Who did Freeze beat that worth a shite?

1) How has he built on that? At least jury is still out on Freeze. Mullen could only win 4 easy OOC games and arguably the worst 4 teams in the SEC.

We actually competed against the top tier coming off a 2-10 year and didn't get ranked #12 by beating a bunch of cupcakes and fold like a used lawn chair while trying to act like you belong (#WeBelieve).

2) Meh? I would argue there's a huge correlation in success coupled with top recruiting classes.

3) I would say Mississippi State, but in Mullen's FOURTH year, they got fully exposed in Starkville as a pretender.

Give Mullen and Franklin the talent and resources that Miles has and it aint even close.

The question is how do you compare the coaching pasts of guys who walked into gravy situations (Miles at LSU, Beilima at UW) vs. the guys who've been forced to rebuild dumpster fires (franklin at VU, Freeze at OM)?... Sumlin is sort of caught in the middle of the two... he didn't exactly inheret dumpster fires at either UH or A&M... and Manzeil could make a lot of coaches look like miracle workers.

It ain't all Manziel dude, Sumlin coached slow arse white boy recievers at purdue when Brees was there and they were always open. Then coached the greatest offenses OU ever had from '03-'08...
it's his offensive master mind.

That's why it's so arbitrary. If you are going to call Les underachieving, why not Richt?

Because Richt improved from losing the SEC title by 30+ points to only losing it by 4 points.

Also, is it fair to say that Mark Richt has gained control over Athlon?

How is Spurrier at #2 a joke? I don't think that's even remotely close to arguable.

I do agree that Miles should be ahead of Richt however.

Its about coaching ability

Mullen has exceeded expectations while Miles has undeachieved IMO with a TON of NFL talent year after year.

Because I don't think he is a beter coach than Miles. He has played in the east and beaten who exactly? How many SEC titles? He beat bama once. All he cares about is golf.

It's certainly arguable. They didn't have him ranked second just a year ago.
