This is very true. In his current role, guice is great. Defenses are usually wore down, and he's fresh, which is definitely an advantage. We can have this conversation about guice once fournette leaves.

Cook. NO.

McCaffery. Probably yes.

He is the frontrunner for Heisman because he got robbed last year. Not Fournette.

Cook and Mccafferey are good, but Fournette is on another planet.

False. If anything, I think Miles uses a more balanced running game unless they really need Fournette to take over. I want nothing more than Fournette to succeed in the NFL. Kid deserves it for how much work he's put in to being an exceptional player and advocate for LSU.

All you have to do is see how many carries each had last season. The mix won't (shouldn't) change much in 2016. If it does change, it will be that LSU has found a QB (which is good news) so they decide to throw the ball more. (Which is bad for Fournette/Guice) I think they keep running the ball.

Don't get me wrong. Guice is going to be a great RB! Nothing against him at all. But Fournette is in his way. You HAVE to keep giving LF the ball. When he is gone, though, Guice will keep the LSU running game humming along nicely.

How do you know what should and shouldn't happen in LSU's run game? I don't think you really payed attention to Guice's play last season. Not trying to slight you, but this kid will break out if the carries are split.

There is no reason Fournette should carry the load of the offense like Henry did for Bama last season when we have a player as good as Guice.

Besides, Les has run RBBC before. Most notably the 2011 team and it worked out pretty well. I highly doubt Fournette will be the sole workhorse next season

Yes he will. But they are NOT going to split the carries evenly. If they do (As I pointed out earlier) Fournette will fall and not be #1. There are only so many plays you have in a game. Fournette will get the vast majority of the carries. Guice simply will not get enough carries this year to be in the top 30.

No team ever has a "sole" RB. The carries are ALWAYS split. But Fournette will get about 60% of the carries for LSU next year. (At LEAST 60%)

He's got enough talent to be higher, but we are not even sure if he will be able to start the season, year. The SEC is loaded with great RBs, though!

Cook is explosive, but I'm not sure he's a feature back.

I want to see McCaffery some more, he looked impressive.

No one is saying they will split the touches evenly. Guice averaged fewer than 5 touches per game, while Fournette averaged 26.

Guice will get 10-12 per game this year.

ETA: I shouldn't say will, he should get 10-12.

Kamara is way too low on this list. He just got a 3rd round draft grade, and he's 39 overall. Something isn't adding up.

You didn't have to watch a whole lot of UT football this year to know that Hurd bounced it outside quite a bit when he didn't have a hole

With Fournette there Guice just won't get enough carries.

Guice will only need 8-10 carries and that's not including the catches he'll make out the backfield and screens

A lot of it (draft grades) has to do with the number and quality of backs in the draft that particular class, as well as analysis of needs in the NFL. One guy might get a higher result one year over another. PLUS, there are no guarantees about these ratings. Truthfully, if Kamara could have been a solid 3rd rounder, he should have entered the draft. Injuries are too risky

Hurd is so under rated. He will finish ahead of both Chubb and Fournette for All SEC.

God. fricking. Damn it.

I'm a UT fan and I downvoted because this is just delusional.

OK Tiger did. Here is what he said:

False. If anything, I think Miles uses a more balanced running game unless they really need Fournette to take over.

All I said is Guice will not get enough carries to be a breakout back this year. He won't be a top 30 back, NOT because he does nto have talent, but because he will not get the carries.

The #30 abck this past year got 283 carries and 1285 yards. Guice will not get enough carries to do that. Why do some LSU fans have to contradict everything anyone else says about their team? I made a perfectly logical statement based on past performances. Now I have TWO LSU fans indicating that Guice will get 1285 yards next season. If he does, it means either Fournette's production falls off dramatically or he gets injured. I don't think either happens.
