When you’re drafted #1 overall, you tend to go to the trashiest team. Carolina has got a couple years with draft picks and free agency to build a team around him.

Bryce got the biggest Bama bump ever. He was always too small, too hesitant to scramble and too weak of an arm.

It’s pathetic they have a possession receiver who could be the perfect release valve in Theilen yet Bryce will not throw to him. Go look at his numbers when Dalton was the qb. The rumor is they don’t want Theilen to hang around and they want to get the younger guys involved.

I’ve watched most of the Carolina games and he looks like he’s in over his head. He was super talented in college so he has the ability but it may take some time to adjust. They also do not have a great rb to take some heat off of the qb.

Unfortunately, Alabama has pretty poor track record of developing NFL caliber qb’s during their most recent era of success under Saban. Tua has moments he looks great but isn’t consistent and can’t stay healthy. Most people credit Oklahoma with Hurts development as a qb and Mac Jones is probably going to get the greatest coach in NFL history fired.

Tory Aikman and the Cowboys were 1-16 his first year. 7-9 the next year. Then . . .

Not saying Bryce will do the same, but you have to give people time - especially if the team around him sucks. And they do - bigly.

You realize it's essentially as if in the SEC Vandy had a badass QB and nothing else. Then wondering why he doesn't produce or win any games

Jamarcus is by far the biggest bust in history. At least Bryce Young is trying. Raiders flat out handed Jamarcus blank tapes and told him to study the film to see if he was even doing it. He basically told them “yeah I’ve been watching it.” Blank tapes.

At the point that it comes to fruition, clown.

They might go down as the biggest two, but maybe they got their money and decided why continue to put their bodies though this lifestyle. Stop give players guaranteed money without ever playing a down.

Way too early to say that. Carolina is straight up garbage especially their O line. When he had time he made some nice plays.

Then to what do you credit his pathetic “bust” of a performance his first year in the league?

P.S. Bryce Young isn’t 5-8 either. He’s between 5-10 and 5-11, according to official measurements, about the same as Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray. You may have heard of them.

Just like Troy Aikmen and Peyton Manning. After 1-15 starts, they never amounted to anything
