That is true though. Lawson's initial diagnosis was a bruised bone, then an MCL injury, then it was a torn ACL. Sometimes the swelling has to go down before a true diagnosis can be made, that's what happened with Lawson

No one likes to see injuries especially in the preseason camp but football is a contact sport and every team will have injuries to deal with during fall camp. Hopefully all SEC players don't have any major injuries during preseason camp. I don't wish that on anyone especially the players.

Sprained MCL, he'll be ready for WVU. Will probably practice before then.

A knee injury for a big guy could be a chronic issue throughout the season.

100% correct. I'll remain concerned until he reappears on the practice field. Even then, a knee injury of any kind this early in the year is worrysome.
