As of right now, why should Florida be ranked behind Alabama?

Same record, 10-1 for each team.
Florida lost earlier in the year than Alabama did.
Florida has the better victories against a more difficult schedule.
Florida has the better loss. (Neutral site to the #3 team in the country, as opposed to losing at home to a team Florida beat on the road.)
Update: Now both teams are 11-1, except:
- Florida is 4-1 against the top 15 with a margin of victory of 47.
- Alabama still only 1-1 against the top 15 with a margin of victory of -1.
So, for those that are curious, Alabama would have to beat Georgia by 25 points to achieve HALF of what Florida has accomplished this year, and to pull even with Florida in the "common opponents we beat but you lost to" category.
And please, please, PLEASE let someone make the argument that Alabama won their division and Florida didn't.

I think Alabama has just looked a lot better, we started the year ranked higher, and we are Alabama.

I believe Alabama is a better team than Florida so I have no issue with their current rankings

That's great and all, but nobody really knows who's better at this point.
It's the same bullshite as last year with this "eyeball test".
It shouldn't be about what people think; it should be about what the teams have done.
Right now, it seems clear that Florida has done more.

Name only. Alabama has not earned where they are this year. They were not the best team on the field during the only two games they have played against quality opponents. It is why preseason polls should not happen.
They don't pass the eyeball test either when you actually look at this year's team and not introduce the bias of the their teams of the recent past.
