Oh no! His skills were so game altering when yall played us! Dude come on, he was good at ST, stripping the ball, and being scrappy. The only part that sucks about him coming back is the dumbass hype and having to hear about how he is a changed person and great role model man. Great for the guy that he is changing his life, but the media needs to take the TM dick out of its mouth. Thats why, not because I think the big bad honey doucher is going to beat Alabama.

Umm..what? T Richardson was great, but he wasn't on McFadden's level.

Not really sure how you can say that. McFadden was the best RB during his best year and so was Richardson. McFadden was the 4th pick, Richardson was 3rd. Richardson had better numbers for his junior year than McFadden. So I mean its all opinion and basically breaking it down into who is better category by category.

I can say that because Dmac finished 2nd in the Heisman voting twice all the while sharing carries with Felix and Hillis for his entire career. I know Richardson was with Ingram for a couple years too.

Here are some career stats showing that Dmac had great company. Richardson had a great year as a starter. I pasted these from somewhere else. Richardson might be high on some of these lists but I didn't look for all his career stats.

Rushing Attempts- Career
#1 Herschel Walker -994
#11 McFadden - 683

Yards Gained
#1 Herschel Walker -5259
#2 Kevin Faulk - 4557
#3 Bo Jackson - 4303
#4 McFadden - 4076

YardsPG
#1 Herschel Walker -159.4 (5259/33games)
#2 Emmitt Smith - 126.7 (3928/31)
#3 McFadden - 119.88 (4076/ 34 games)
#4 Bo Jackson - 113.2 (4303/38)

Yards attempt
#1 Bo Jackson - 6.6
#4 McFadden - 5.97

TDs rushing
#1 Herschel Walker - 49
#8 McFadden - 37 (tie with Duece Mcallister)

This is pretty good company.

ETA: These stats were just from Nov. of his senior yr.

Tack on several hundred more yards and then you can see how great he really was. And I think Dmac was definitely the best back in the SEC his sophomore year and maybe freshman year as well.

Tebow. I just got tired of all the media hype and didn't like it when he was awarded the Heisman over McFadden. But I've never had anything against Tebow and he's a very talented QB. I do like the guy but not like I like McFadden. Like someone said in a prior post, "he got dat wood". As a consolation, I do hope LSU fans found a bit of comic relief from that interview on the field after that game. It was classic.

I mean all of that is fine and dandy for career stats, but I mean you cant really go by that. A lot of factors go into who is the better overall RB

Career stats make a lot more sense than the stat you posted. Overall draft pick is fine and dandy but I'll give you an example of how little that means.

Ryan Tannehill - 1st round draft pick, highest QB ever taken from aTm, NFL starter

Ryan Mallett - 3rd round draft pick, NFL backup

Now you tell me which player is a better QB...

This. I always want another shot at opponent's star players who've beaten my favorite teams.

That said, I'd have loved for LSU to get another shot at Nick Fairley, so they could send him to the hospital - not because I favor dirty play, but because he did, and deserved to be sent out that way.
