Considering how easy Bama's schedule was, the outcome should sting a bit. Your peers will laugh at you now, but they will come to their senses when they have had time to fully digest what happened to the Alabama football program during the past couple of months.

In general no loss stings more than the bowl game because that is the lasting impression of the season.
After the chicken last year, not to mention the pounding in NOLA, it took a long time before I could even bring myself to seek CF info of any kind.

This is probably reality for most fans, which is what makes college football so great.
As tough as it was to swallow, if given the choice, I'd take the loss to Ole Miss in exchange for a bowl win. Going 8 months trying to figure out "what happened" in your bowl game sucks.
