Being a St. Louis Cardinals fan can be difficult. People just don't understand how much emotion and expectations Cards fan invest in the St. Louis Cardinals.

It's a lot of work believe it or not.

If I ever decide we're too bullyish or I get a little "bored" with winnibg I just think back to the mid 2000s and laugh maniacally

Seriously...We sucked for twenty years before Saban. We are in trouble again when Saban hangs it up and it will be just like when Coach Bryant retired. 20 years of suckle and multiple coaches is headed our way when he hangs it up.

Genny,

Can you imagine what it's like to be both a Bama and Cardinals fan like myself?

It's VERY difficult.

It's a burden all Bama fans must bear. But it's also what makes us great!

If you were a real fan you would have attended and graduated from Alabama....assuming you could have and did graduate high school.

But I got a soft heart for good dudes. Really seems like he didn't want to go.

Then he should have adapted to modern day college football. He chose not to, which to me kind of indicated an ego problem, but I wish him well and am grateful for his time here. Your premise that Bama destroyed him is only part of it. It was more his own undoing.
