NWA is a great place. I've lived here all of my life.
I will say back in the day as a player refs were crooked in Harrison towards black players. Though as my trip up there as a coach 6 years later seemed better.
The ones flaming NWA either haven't been here or they are ignorant.

I grew up in Hburg and have connections to the Gulf Coast, Jackson, and have now lived in Oxford for 8 years, essentially spanning most of the state - and Ive never seen anything like that. Nothing close.

Actually, its because we have several global companies located here.
Bentonville has like 4-5 Indian restaurants, for example. Indians don't come here to pluck chickens.

I think what you guys miss is that with the multinational companies here, we have lots of Asians, Indians, Europeans, etc. Per-capita, its pretty diverse. We don't have a lot of "black people", but that's a narrow and mostly small-town Southern viewpoint.

Hardly. What goes on in Harrison is about as relevant to Fayetteville or Northwest Arkansas as what goes on in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Its a small town an hour and thirty minutes away from here.
