You're full of shite and have no clue about northwest Arkansas. And, here are a couple of facts you might want to know about Harrison.
I coached youth baseball for years and had a black player on my team for six years. We played several times in Harrison, including a state tournament, and had no problem whatsoever nor did we encounter any sort or racism. In fact, the good citizens of Harrison couldn’t have been more cordial.
Additionally, you might find this interesting even though it doesn’t fit your ignorant agenda. Several ago I took some of my players to a showcase hosted by North Arkansas Community College. And guess what? There were some black players playing baseball for North Arkansas CC. Imagine that. Doesn’t fit your agenda does it?
I grew up in Oklahoma City, lived in northwest Arkansas for many years, and I’ve traveled extensively to most parts of the United States and I can emphatically state that northwest Arkansas is one of the least racist places I’ve ever experienced.
How’s this for painting with a broad brush? Most Aggies I know or have come in contact with are the most racist, ignorant, boot-wearing, cowboys you will ever encounter. See how easy that is?

I've lived in Harrison the last 3 years and its nothing what its perceived to be. Also I'm talking with more experience in 3 years than a lot of people.
People that buy into it makes it worse. Also there are racists everywhere. Just because a group of trash are on the outskirts of town doesn't make the town or NWA racist. Trash will be trash wherever they are. Again I'm not from here originally and should dislike the area more than a lot of people for specific reasons, but don't. If I have the opportunity in the future I would love to retire in NWA.

Harrison/NWA residents sure are sensitive about their racist reputation. The fact is Klan headquarters and billboards such as in the OP are not commonplace even among other places full of racist fricks. That this kind of stuff exists in your town is quite disturbing. If things are improving great, but you're still way behind.

The diversity in NW Arkansas really does rival international cities. We have a Marshall Islands consulate here. We have a Sikh temple. We have a reputation for being GLBT tolerant. We gave up Springdale though, which was the most hickbilly town on the I540 corridor, we have MS13 and Central American populations of all nations. We have a direct pipeline from Bolivia to here due to a scholarship arrangement with that country. We have a respected Middle Eastern studies program bankrolled by Queen Noor of Jordan.
If anything the extreme growth has turned NWA a 180 degrees from what it was 25 years ago. We no longer have a livestock auction in Washington County, the Farmer's Co-Op grain elevator is now condos and office space, the little town I grew up in where the only non white kids were Natives and the 2 adopted mixed kids that one of the rich families picked up for tax breaks now has asian, hispanic, and black kids as well. Rogers school district has been more than 50% hispanic for nearly a decade now.
We have extremely low crime for a metro of 500,000, and as much as people think we're a backwater place, we're actually the 4th largest metro in the SEC when accounting where the schools are actually located.
So you can project your ignorance and racism elsewhere because we really don't have those issues here like you dumbfricks like to think.

Seems like at some point people would figure out that posts running down NWA are trolling. All it takes is one sentence and suddenly people fly in with 1000 word defenses of the greatest place on Earth, Northwest Arkansas.

And don't forget the World Trade Center just a couple of miles from my house at Pinnacle Hills.
What these ignorant buffoons don't realize is the every time Wal-Mart ventures into another country there is an influx of highly intelligent, well compensated, hard working people brought in from that country to help with that transition.
Case in point, Wal-Mart's recent entry into India. Its common to see a group of Indians enjoying the vast dining options available. I'm guessing the people brought in are making a minimum of $100,000 and they probably are more in the range of $150,000 - $175,000.

My posts are never intended to the troller. I respond because it gives me the opportunity to shed a little more light on NWA in hopes it might spark the interest of the rare, intelligent poster to check out NWA and perhaps bring their talent to the area. I don't mind wasting a few minutes here or there because you never know who reads these posts.
My neighbors are a good example of the diversity of NWA. Just on my cul-de-sac alone we have a Russian couple with two young children. One is a doctor and the other an IT Manager. There is also Sam's DMM that is originally from Ohio. Great family and although he is an Ohio State Fan he holds season tickets to the Hog games and is also a Hog Fan now.
Additionally, we have a preacher and his family from Baton Rouge. Yes, he is an LSU Fan but he pulls for the Razorbacks when they aren't playing the Hogs. I have little doubt that one or two of his children will be going to the U of A.

One of the main reasons the billboard is even in the news is because the sign was vandalised to read "anti-racism is love" and the vandal was arrested. People shouldn't confuse the sign's existence in a city with the city condoning or endorsing the message.
