I watched your game against TCU - the only one worth my time.
The defense you faced in that game pales in comparison to John Chavis's squad. You can talk about your improved passing game but you're worse at OL than you were last year and you're facing maybe the best pass rushing team in college football.

Neither team has been tested too much other than a game vs a decent opponent. Crowning a defense as the best in the country in an area is a stretch right now. Lots will be answered Saturday night.

Against a offense that was still adjusting under a new OC. We've scored 40+ in something like 8 of the last 10, including two of three this yearm

Third and Chavis is real. I used to laugh at Vol fans when they said that until we experienced it up close and personal. He will cost you two or three games every year when puckers up late in the game. Bank on it.

This thread is informative though.
I think TCU has a better offense than Auburn. I am not sold on TCU defense yet this year. Maybe they are comparable wins. It's understandable that each team would feel like it was a solid win.
I think Auburn has a talented front 7, but maybe Arky has as talented front 7. I will have to watch some more tape.
I will say that Arky being more balanced should help them. I respect Bert as a coach.
But A&M has definitely improved on defense. And the o-line has played pretty well so far, so the offense should be able to move the ball.
Always a fun game.
