Currently you are 11th in the SEC in yards per rush. You also only have 2 runs over 20 yards in 127 rushing attempts. That is vs TxSt, TCU and LaTech defenses.

How much do you expect the run game to improve and do you expect it to be better or worse than in 2015?

Aggy defense will hold them under 25 points.

It's getting there. Whaley will get more touches. KWalker will get healthier. RWIII will do what he does.

I'm curious about their secondary/pass defense. This is on turf and our receivers are going to be lightning fast.

I'll bite. No.

Rawleigh Williams is the third leading rusher in the SEC. Our rushing attack has generally taken a few games to get off the ground from a blocking perspective every year under Bert as the line coalesces.

Plus, he's literally never not had a 1,000 as a collegiate head coach.

Our feature back Rawleigh Williams is very patient and deliberate with how he hits the hole, which results in a lot of consistent, positive gains, but not many homeruns. Our true freshman Devwah Whaley has not seen a lot of time yet, but he has potential to be our homerun hitter. Maybe he'll break out against A&M.

We haven't even shown 1/3 of the playbook
TJ Hammonds hasn't even taken a snap at RB

Secondary is much improved. DJ Dean, one of our backup CBs, might be back this week and add depth.

It will improve as the line up on the line is finalized and Whaley starts having the game slow down for him.

RW is a work horse, he isn't going to bust off the big runs consistently, but he's one of those guys who always gets positive yardage.

Whaley is the home run threat, just needs to be more patient and lets his blocks get set.

Walker played more of a full back role last night, which is where he needs to be the majority of the time, he's a threat in the offense at FB by either run or catch, not just an extra blocker when he is in the game.

The turf will definitely provide him an opportunity to show speed if he can get around the defenders

Texas State snaps the ball faster than anyone in the country, they have the same bubble screens/quick passes to the perimeter.

Our secondary is fundamentally sound, to abuse them your going to need a good oline to hold off our dline to let down field passes develop, stopping the screen game hasn't really been a problem since Robb has been here.

You know we play on turf since Petrino had the grass Nutt had installed tore up and replaced, right?

I noticed Rawleigh was looking for cutback lanes more often yesterday than he had been in the first two weeks.

I'm not going to brag about PVAMU, you really shouldn't about TSU

What am i bragging about?

aggy isn't going to do anything offensively that our d hasn't seen the three weeks prior.

Now if Chavis chooses to not stack the box, sell out to stop the run, then that will be a first for our offense.

Where has anyone bragged about Texas State?

They played one game prior to playing Arkansas. In that game, they beat Ohio at Ohio. The same Ohio that just gave Tennessee all they could handle. TSU put up 54 points and 546 yards of offense on them in the game. They run what is considered the fastest offense in the country.

What Dale was explaining to you, is that Arkansas has faced three up tempo passing teams every week this season and has done well enough to win. So, you bragging about your WRs being fast on turf really means shite, considering we play on turf every day and every home game.

While you may think the Arkansas defense is weak, it is not. Besides Alabama, this will likely be one of the best front 7's your team will see this season. Arkansas rotates 10-11 bodies in its two deep in the front 4 and Arkansas also returned its entire LB core from a season ago. Brooks Ellis will probably be All SEC and may be one of the best LBs in the league.

The Arkansas defense has been prepping for the aTm offense for three weeks, and got game experience against similar offenses all three weeks. When was the last time aTm lined up across from an offensive machine like ours? I would imagine it has been a while. So buckle your seat belt and put your Depends on old man...
