Good lord...

The Cotton has been viewed by the public as a great bowl for many years.

When we beat Kstate 3 years ago we finished ranked #5 in the nation. #5 dude...

C'mon now.. this will be states best season in like FOREVER and you were demolished by a one dimensional team. Mullins should have used this season to get out while he could.

And be completely honest please.. Deep down you know that State and Ole Missy only care about one bowl (as seen by lack of fan interest) and that is the Egg Bowl.

and rightfully named, you both laid huge stagnant rotten eggs this bowl season.
Geesh!

And South Carolina finished 4th after playing in the Cirus. What's your point? Is it major? BYU finished 1st after playing in the Holiday Bowl in 1984. We went to the Cotton with 4 losses in 1998, and so did your team in 1999 and in 2001 with a 7-5 record. Going from selecting conference champions or runnerups to taking 4th and 5th place teams is not major, but believe what you want. Geesh!

I was glad to see Arkie turn it around this year. The absolute beating you gave texas was awesome. Not looking forward to our game with the Pigs next year.

thanks Larry....

All season long the improvement was evident. from the way we lost against TAMU to only being beaten by bama by 1....

GA had our number... But the improvement with only 2 recruiting classes (really 1.5 considering CBB was just hired) was great. Our D finished up very nicely. Our O needs some skill players and a few more road graders in the front. Some will say a Qback BA managed nicely in the bowl game.

Chaney makes some dumbfounded calls at times.

Shannon leaving I don't believe will have much of an effect on us. His recruiting was Meh! and the D was on Smith.

It is easy to see the trends of programs. We are trending up, others?

I wish I could claim some of the credit, but I was firmly planted on my couch with a beer in my hand.

Getting back in the big 6 renewed it's relevance.

Saying the cotton bowl hasn't been relevant is foolish. I'm not sure what your definition of "major" is, or if the cotton qualifies to meet that definition, but the cotton bowl has certainly been a relevant bowl as of late.
