Go look up the number of 5 star high school players from Arkansas vs the rest of the SEC states and then come back and explain how any of you ever lose to us

Unless you are talking top 5 recruiter in the nation than it isn't going to matter much. Arkansas is at too much of a disadvantage when it comes to recruiting. You are on to something in your second line of thought though.

Beilema is probably a good coach at programs where he isn't outmatched from a talent standpoint. Didn't he have issues at Wisconsin against the more talented powerhouses like Ohio State?

This is probably the bottom line when it comes to Bert at the end of the day.

I don't think many really understand how bad it can be some years.

Hence why one of the scenarios I mentioned was a big time recruiter who could go out to TX, MS, and LA and get the talent needed.

Dont fire the Belemia! Y'all stupid if y'all do!!!!!

Look how much success the Miles had at LSU on. The Belemia just needs more time. I recommend a lifetime contract!

Like another poster said he's beaten LSU 2 out of 3 times one with a shutout! That may not ever happen again in your lifetime!

Consider that and stew on it!

Ok, show me anyone not named Saban who could pull big time recruits from Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and Alabama.

Sadder, though, that LSU isn't better than Ogre.

Mostly true, but he was still known at Wisconsin for underachieving, choking late in games, making bonehead decisions in tight games, that clueless look he gets when something goes wrong, and losing some games he shouldn't. You can't afford to do that in the SEC at Arkansas, not if you want to have a very, very good Arkansas season which the Hogs should have every now and then. You end up going 5-3 in the West but finishing 8-5 overall. He squandered his shot at a decent season last year by losing to two teams Arkansas had less than zero business losing to, and, to a lesser extent, he squandered the same opportunity in 2014 with a top ten defense when Arkansas was in every game except two. We would be a lot less disappointed with this year if those two had not also been mild disappointments.

Wisconsin has actually been better since he left through an additional coaching change.

Agree. Fire him now and we can just guarantee another 5 years of shitty seasons until the next coach gets fired.

The only way they need to fire him before 2019 is if they have a home run hire lined up before hand.

Not really because at the time Michigan sucked and OSU was in the NCAA doghouse.

If he were at Wisky now he'd be middle of the pack to 2nd tier behind UM, OSU, MSU, Nebraska

Agree, at some point you have to quit blaming the coaches and stick with one and get behind him

The Hogs need to stabilize the program and improve recruiting and winning 7 to 8 games does not look attractive it does not sink the program.

Arkansas in just one very good recruiting class away from getting on the map and if the coaching staff can get the front 7 on defense and the offensive line solid then the skilled players will flock.
