I agree. They massively overachiever with Petrino and a lot of it was luck and good timing.
They'll fire Bert because they're dumb, but the next coach won't be any better. They're about to be stuck in a cycle of mediocrity. They'll never attract another coach with as good a resume again and when he goes to the next school he'll look more like his Wisconsin self than his Arkansas self.

Bookmark me if you want. The next coach won't do any better. It would be better in the long term to keep what you have than to start from scratch again just for the same results

They're already in a deep a cycle of mediocrity. They'll attract another decent coach. They've fired and hired much better coaches than Bielema in the past.

They need a big time recruiter with good assistant coaches or a technical genius who can beat more talented teams with lesser talent (e.g. Petrino). Beilema is probably a good coach at programs where he isn't outmatched from a talent standpoint. Didn't he have issues at Wisconsin against the more talented powerhouses like Ohio State?
