I couldnt buy my guys beer. I would buy my Managers beer and burgers every Friday night when we cleaned hats. I would get my Baseball managers beer on home weekends, if the other team had us do their laundry, since they usually didnt get much money.

You sorry piece of shite. You misrepresented what I said. Here is the exact quote so quit trying to misrepresent what I said arse.

"We will improve more in proportion to the other teams we are going to play. That's what great coached do throughout the year".

Base on what Choctaw? The fact that he won at the CUSA and BigEast level? I concede that. Also, I am not even saying that he is a bad coach, or that he can't get it done in the SEC, I've NEVER said that. I have stated that IMO so far he hasn't shown me the level of progress that I had expected, and I'm not the only one. In fact he really hasn't shown ANY progress. I'm sorry but I don't consider having a strong passing game at the expense of everything else to be improving. And the facts are that he's made some mistakes, I see NOTHING wrong with pointing those mistake out. I know the du jour thing to do is to be thrilled with Petrino mostly because he isn't Nutt, but that really isn't valid. Arkansas fans seriously need to get over this if you criticize Petrino you're a Nutt Hugger bullshite. It's stupid. I don't want Nutt back, I don't want Petrino gone, I DO want him to correct the things that are correctable and show some progress on the field, and no of course progress wouldn't have meant beating Bama, it might have included not being embarrased by Bama though.

You are the only one bringing NUTT into the discussion, frickwit.

I never called you a Nutt Hugger because of your poorly thought out criticisms of Petrino.

I called you a dumbass.

WMR-

I brought Nutt up in one post to point out I would rather have Mark or Hut back in town. But, the only criticism I have of Petrino is he seems to not have a connection with reality of what happend. To make the quote that they didnt think they could go there and win public is very troubling to me. But if he uses it as a teaching point then good if not some may begin to wonder if he truly has the U of A best interest in his best ineterest.

Calm down Choctaw, I was merely misconstruing your words like yall like to do to me. But let's take your exact quote apart. First, I wouldn't classify Petrino as a great coach, not yet, a very good one? Yes. Ok, tell me which teams we're facing in the SEC don't have very good coaches on staff? That is why the SEC is ELITE, because ALL teams have them, therfor what team's coaches aren't going to do their jobs? Ok you're gonna say Nutt and I'm gonna agree with you except that Snead is not going to play at last week's level all season. So don't count on them just falling apart.

bcshog throws up Nutt and Mitch fricking Mustain and Beck Campbell, for whatever reason, twice a day.

I don't mind it if people discuss Nutt. Hell, I didn't even really bash Nutt more than two or three posts when Ole Miss lost, and I haven't harrassed Ole Miss posters in months.

Whats interesting to me is why a person who calls himself a Razorback fan would take such pleasure in antagonizing Razorback fans at every opportunity.

There's no equivalent poster from any other school.

Arkansas fans are crazy, I guess. Somehow we managed to produce both bcshog and wildrebeltime; that is, if they aren't really the same person.

Choctaw I never understood our defense after Kolling, Harper, Boyce left though. It was very simplistic but they combo everything. And after years of knowing a certain defense it was hard for me to understand terminology and things, even though it was basically the same.

Both offenses and defenses are complicated now days but I'm willing to take a few steps back in order to get to where we need to be. This is a pretty simplistic analogy but you will get the point. Take a young kid hitting a baseball. If he has good hand-eye coordination he will have success at an early age even with a mechanically unsound swing. And perhaps that swing will carry him through maybe until he is 11 or 12 years old.

However, in order for that player to have any sort of success when he starts facing pitchers who can throw good breaking pitches, change-ups, sliders, cutters, sinkers, etc. he will have to learn the right way. In order for that player to learn properly he will almost have to relearn how to swing which will actually set him back for a while, perhaps even a year. But, once he learns the proper way his ability to hit good pitching increases significantly. I think it’s much like that in learning complicated Offensive and Defensive sets. We may take a few steps back but once the team learns them the upside will be significant. I think that is where we are right now with the Hogs and Petrino.

Choctaw did you take the RS between the Fr and Soph year?

Not intentionally. My High School, Choctaw, OK, was one redneck school and when I got to college I continued to raise so much hell that I didn't go to class most of the time. Therefore I became ineligible my second semester. However, I did preserver and regained my eligibility. It took me a while to get through college, working and all, but I finally did.

Choctaw, I'm retired military, I totally understand the concept of breaking someone down to build them into what you want. But my point is that so far I haven't seen enough rebuilding if you will. Ok, our OLine under Nutt couldn't pass block to save their asses, but were highly regarded as run blockers. Now we can't run block. Are you telling me that it is necessary to teach them to forget how to run block in order to learn to pass block? That's just one example of many, but I know people complain when my PS3 posts get too long.

Choctaw the K-State offense is the most complicated I have been around. The offense Petrino uses is a simpler version, IMO, with less running. In that offense, you had a color for everything 2 numbers that were keys, everything went on 2, exception with a Orange call or Yellow Call. It took forever it seemed to dictate the plays.

Example would be...

Lion Tight Up Deep H Flip 71/79 Boot @ 9. At the line we could call blue/red to switch the route and a number to switch the protection.

The key to bcshog's posting about Nutt, Mitch, Beck, etc:

From another thread. bcshog wrote:

quote:

My wife got thrown out of a HS baseball game a few years back for threatening to kick a woman's arse because she was laughing at my son striking out and calling him a jerk off. I would tell you the n ame of the bitch, but some on here would accuse me of having it out for her because her son turned out to be over rated QB and she's a bitch.... True story...

bcshog's wife got kicked out (humiliated, as well I presume) of a baseball game after a confrontation with Beck Campbell.

Thats it. Thats all you need to know. Thats why everything he posts must pass through a "Mitch Mustain and Beck Campbell suck and the people who "supported them" also so suck so I'm angry at Razorback fans in general" Filter before being typed out.

Its about his wife and him being humiliated at a baseball game after a confrontation with Beck Campbell, allegedly.

I'm a little relieved. I thought he genuinely was crazy, but now I know he's just white trash with a crazy bitch for a wife. No wonder he spends so much time playing video games and posting on here. Carry on.

That shite does get damn complicated, especially when the receivers have to check to a different route base on what the defense is doing and the QB's have to know it all. Some of the football players have told my son that Mallet knows that shite inside and out and is one of the best at recognizing defenses and knowing what everybody is suppose to be doing. That is all he has ever wanted to do. If he continues to improve, which I know he will because of how hard he works at it, and doesn't get hurt I'm sure he will be making a damn good living in the NFL.

Petrino's offense is a lot like the one Kirby is running without the no huddle. He and Cristobell's route combos look very similar.

BAHAHAHHAA I knew you would draw that conclusion. That's why I posted it the way I did, But oh wait a minute I live in Carroll County, my kid goes to Berryville High School AND my son is almost 4 years younger than Mitch. It's unlikely that my son EVER faced a team that Beck was rooting for in a baseball game; because TA DA he didn't , it was another mother entirely, one who's name would mean nothing to you becuase her highly touted son truly did turn out to be a bust of a prospect.... Oh PS - I really would like to get together with you and shove my foot in your arse err I mean grab a beer together. Attacking my wife now LOL you truly are a piece of shite.

He could be talking about Doug Greenlee or Mark Mhoon, but anyway who cares why BCS holds a grudge...just as long as he doesnt get too much access to the JFBAC

Got work to do guys. I'll pick it up tomorrow. Now, what the hell was this post about? Oh, the Hogs and Aggie game. Most of you know that I usually don't predict wins and losses on individual games but we will kick the shite out of the Aggies. Just watch and see.
