Choctaw, that is EXCELLENT that we were fourth in the SEC last year in total offense. How many wins did that translate into? Yeah that's what I thought. You're the idiot if your marking a succesfull season as one in which we had lots of offense and very few wins. Hell Houston Nutt managed to have a top 5 rushing attack , what 10 years in a row? What did that get him? Fired for not winning enough games. See this is exactly what I have been saying. Arkansas fans want a passing attack SO badly that they are willing to overlook EVERYTHING else as long as Petrino continues passing the ball. Now given the state of the passing game when Petrino came to town, that's almost understandable, BUT at some point we have to realize we're not gonna outscore any fricking one, and we're certainly not going to do so being one dimensional. Defense and special teams win games in the SEC , not leading the conference in passing and absolutely blowing chunks in every other category. If that's what you want to see, I suggest you follow the WAC.

Yeah, you missed the part where I clearly said I won't root against my team for superstitioius reasons. Did you have nothing to say to my post in which I once again owned one of you retards when you claimed that the prodcut Petrino has put on the field so far isn't a disappointment because we were fourth in the nation in total offense last year, totally ignoring the fact that we were dead last in the nation in defense and only won 5 games? Seriously Choctaw, you need to join forces with Austin,WMR, and maybe 2 or 3 other "darksider" posters and MAYBE you would be able to hold your own against me in a debate, but it's doubtful. I am MUCH too powerful for you.

I did write that. I had forgotten. I believe the context was speaking about if we didn't make major improvements though. Do you think this team as it stand right now could beat OM, or Auburn or USC? I don't and nothing I have seen from Petrino so far at Arkansas leads me to believe we'll be seeing much improvement this season. Actually I beleive we WILL beat LSU, more cuz of their problems then our own game though, and we probably will beat MSU, but honestly that's it, so I'll say 2 conference wins is my prediction.

I know you don't really realize just how stupid you sound when you write the shite you do but I was responding to you idiotic statement “Doc, If I'm pessimistic it's because of the production I've seen from Petrino's Hogs in the last 15 games, they have made virtually NO progress” I guess we didn’t make any progress during the last half of the year (but just don’t tell LSU that) and have continued to make progress this year. Petrino said we have made a lot of progress but what the hell does he know compared to you, WRT Light?

Petrino can say whatever the frick he wants. I want to see improvement with my own eyes. If you consider going from almost losing to western illinois to being able to beat what was an average LSU team in a venue in which we generally always beat them to be some giant leap of progress, then fine, I don't . We were a 5 win team last season, we will be lucky to be a 6 win team this season. That isn't pessimism, it's realism. Funny that all the experts are calling for us to finish no better than fourth in the SECW and some crazy Hog fans expect us to dominate and yall consider ME the crazy one. The poster that posted that Arkansas fans are the most delusional was right on the money, but he should have added retarded, and lacking reading comprehension skillls as well.

This team will get better each week now that our players have seen the best the SEC has to offer. Teams and players either get better or they get worse, nothing remains the same. But unless you have played some sport at a high level I wouldn't expect you to know that.
Yes, by the time we play OM, Auburn , USC, and LSU, I fully expect to beat them. When Ole Miss loses a couple more times they will head south faster that Nutt got out out of his Golden Handcuffs.

We will improve more in proportion to the other teams we are going to play. That's what great coached do throughout the year.
Since you never played any sport at a high level (at least college) you wouldn't understand so I'm not ever going to try. It's beyond your comprehension. Do you find that funny as well?

I am quiet certain that the majority of hog fans have a firm belief that we are still rebuilding and it is going to take some time. The majority does not believe that we are going to dominate year in and out....

Why do you keep mentioning if I played sports on a collegiate level? I would bet 999 out of 1000 college football fans have not, at least. Are you suggesting that only those fans that have played college sports are qualified to make judgementes? LOL. Oh you expect us to make the most improvements? Based on what? Last year's results? LOL I'll tell you what junior, here's the facts. OM will arse rape us. They have a strong defense and their offense isn't goign to struggle like they did last Thursday against our swiss cheese defense. USC proved that they are the normal push overs this year. MSU is well MSU but they do look better than years past. LSU will NEVER be a give me game for Arkansas. AUB is clicking on offense and has a defense that we wish we could match. I fail to see where you think we're going to improve well enough to be better than where these programs will improve to by the time our games come around? Oh sure, I truly believe aanything can happen in SEC play and we could beat Florida, you never know, BUT to put out a blanket statement that we will improve enough to easily handle ANYONE is ridicolous. I'm nervous about Troy, they are a solid club. But you hold on to your delusions.

Show me dumb frick where I said these teams will regress? You do know that there is more upside to a young team that older ones don't you? Probably not. Arkansas is still a very young team and just that alone they have more room to improve than a more veteran team. Couple that with the excellent coaching they will receive from Bobby Petrino and they will only get better, and better (proportionally) than the other teams.
Again, since you never participated in sports past Pop Warner or Jr. High, you wouldn't know about things like that.
