I turned 13 in 1994. That 93-94 season and team is one of my most cherished memories. I had always watched hog bball with my old man, but that was the year I got it. The year I watched every tv game. I started watching espn and keeping up with the sport.
Any Mizzou fan is welcome to watch the first televised game from our New Bud Walton arena. It was Arkansas vs Mizzou. That Mizzou squad was conference champs and an elite 8 team. Go see how they faired against that hog squad.

I think Arky has a good team this year but UGA matches up better with UK and is at home. Arky will play the Nolan Richardson "40 minutes of hell" pressing style on Saturday, resulting in Kentucky going wild on fast break points and thus a blowout. Georgia will slow the game down and work for good shots, and if they are really hot from "3" could pull the upset

FUN FACT: UK vs Arkansas in football is winning 4-3 all time! Isn't Arkansas a track and field state?

The same style we used the last three times? Not really seeing where that's a guaranteed blowout?

Yeah, Arky sucks in football; that's why they talk hoops all the time. With Stoops we might even double them up over the next few years assuming we play them enough.

We aren't UK by any stretch of the imagination, but we should put a good team on the court...every year. It disgust me to see what Arkansas ball has been since 94/95 when we went back to the ncaa championship.
I don't ever expect to get ahead of UK in any rankings all time, but I want to give UK a run for their money every year and getting a few.

Totally agree. Same kind of people who are clueless that from 1978-1993, Dale Brown's Teams averaged one win per season against the Big Blue Nation, a feat never achieved before or since by any school. It's the Tigers who rank a distant second to UK in all-time SEC champs(11) as well in PoY winners. And it's going to get more interesting in the next couple of years with 7 or 8 SEC schools bringing in Top 100 recruits. I read where Auburn has 5 top 100 guys coming in next season and aTm has 4. That's frickin' strong for the weak basketball conference that is today's SEC.
