Oh hell here we go one further update on the facebook war:

Apparently it is a joke to them to say that we have one of the best offensive minds in the country coaching our team.

Arkansas is 3 of the last 4 against AU, their only win coming with Cam. I don't think Cam is coming back.

Just got them pretty good. he assured me Urban Meyer was an offensive genius. A better offensive coach than petrino. Meyer was never even an OC.....hell 2 out of 7 assistant jobs were for the defense.

Having spent a lot of my life in western Arkansas, I can vouch for the unsurpassed aggressive stupidity of the t-shirt OU fan. Toby Keith is their leader.

There is naturally a boost in pre season rankings for having won the national title, and for having the top ranked recruiting class. Bama did one, and is currently leading for the other. Combine that with keeping 6 Defensive starters and the Offense getting arguably better = no less than #3.

Who cares about preseason? LSU should be a W unless we just don't want to win that. SCe and Bama will be tough but should at a minimum split that one.

We'll be lucky to beat LSU or Bama or both.

I'll take a 1 point win over either.

Home field will help, no doubt.

Easy...let up on the throttle my man... I'm not sayin' we can't win...but LSU will not be an easy win.

Alabama will be tough but I just don't see us losing to USCe.

Speaking of, is the LSU game for sure in Fayetteville or has that still not come out yet?

1. LSU
2. Ark
3. Bama

I don't think so. We all know Arky's problem hasn't been their offense, it's been the defense. They lost a pretty good amount of playmakers on the defensive side of the ball, ad I've yet to see some others show that they can play as good as the ones that left. Plus, let's also mention that Greg Childs, Jarius Wright, and Joe Adams are also gone.

That being said, top 10 (maybe right at 10), not top 5 or top 3.

Arkansas has been trending solidly upward over the last several years. I believe their fans have every reason to be excited about the direction their program is going in.

If they manage to get everything clicking at once and get lucky with injuries, they may accomplish some really big things here soon, be it a big win in a BCS bowl or maybe even claiming the SEC another National Championship.

I agree with this and thanks for noticing. I don't understand why LSU fans can't see this. I take notice when another team in on the upswing and give them props. I know I'm excited about the Hogs future and have every indication that I should be.

Just like Bama and LSU fans should be excited, especially LSU with what they have coming back. The best 3 teams in the SEC were Bama, LSU, and Arkansas...with our 2 losses (arse whippings) coming to you guys.

The jury's still out on our defense but I thought DC Haynes had us looking a lot more competent re: fundamentals in the Kansas State game. It's just hard to tell with one game, but they did show significant improvement.

I don't know if it has been decided for certain at this point, but it is being considered.

No shite! We actually had guys staying in their gaps and making tackles in the open field(mainly in the backfield) he really let the D line loose unlike Robinson who wanted the D line to open up plays for the LB's. I loved it.

I'm probably one of the very, very few LSU and/or non-Ark fans that think they have a legit shot to win the West next year. I'm not predicting they win it, but they seem to play Alabama (losing quite a few starters, and playing earlier in the year) and LSU better at home, no matter how good they are.

With that said, I predict LSU will win the West next year, but will not blow out Arkansas like they did this year. It will be a tight game.

Very early prediction, but wth.

Who really cares about a preseason rank?

Arkansas will be at, in, or around the Top 10.

Beat Alabama week 2, and we'll be Top 5 maybe Top 3.

All that really matters.
