Some of the nicest facilities in collegiate sports while our teams have a collective 1 NC in the last 30 years.

We've just never paid players like the Aubies, Aggies, Ponies, horns, Gators, Dogs and Gumps.

Now its legal to pay players. And we can compete with ANYBODY in that arena

They must have been been persuaded because I don't see them caring enough about Arkansas to give money to sports.

Arkansas couldn't pay with those teams either or they had a fear of the NCAA would put them on probation, death penalty back when they had the balls to do it instead of being the cucks that they are now.

Didn’t the prince of the portal just recently get 3 McDonald’s burgers and a bunch of coveted transfers?

I don't think that's true about Jim and Rob.

I also don't see them having any patience for helping bankroll stupid decisions. They see the playground politics we had in the past from BOT and boosters, and I'm guessing they pulled back from that quietly.

I remember seeing this same kind of thread a few years ago, and how’s that worked out so far?

It's not how much money you have, it's how much you are willing to spend.

If they are willing to spend so much, why do you not already have the highest paid coaching staff, the best facilities and everything else? These are all things you could have been buying all a long.

They didn't want to pay for anything that could help build the program long term, but now suddenly they are going to spend more than everyone else?

What does rich boosters matter? To back and look at the classes Coach Cal has had the last 10 years. I think his lowest ranked class at UK I’d like #5. He normally top 3 classes every year.

Those close to the situation say the Tyson commitment to Cal has persuaded the others to up their game in committing big money to the other sports now while they weren’t involved before.

So we’ll see if it makes a difference. Walmart has never been involved in Arkansas athletics despite every other fanbase pointing to it whenever we land a recruit lol

Anyone, literally anyone who isn't huffing massive amounts of copium, believes that Cal is better than Pope.

It is difficult getting all these boosters on the same page.

Some want to donate and others don't. They end up donating but only this time and then they don't donate at all.

Just getting the Waltons involved this one time for any donations is hard enough.

Didn’t Kentucky have a number 1 class recently with this guy? How did they do?
