We backed into our #3 ranking?
I guess LSU backed into the 2006 sugar bowl and then in 2007 backed into the BCSMNCG.

Congrats on a great season and good luck in your bowl.Maybe one day you will be man enough to admit LSU was the better team and no amount of excuses will change that fact.

Rankings between seasons aren't really relevant and you know it, you are just shite stirring.
There is no way you can immediately say that a number 5 team from 2006 is better than a number 8 team this year. Hell, it is pretty hard to use the rankings within THIS season to determine who is better.
I think our 2006 team was as good as this one and that at its peak our 2010 team was better than this one.
While we are at it, third in the division this year isn't too bad...if you remember, the top three in the SEC West mirrored the top three in the BCS. By definition, there can be only one at the top.
LSUs best team ever is better than our second best team in two years, congrats. Hopefully Nick Saban will continue to try to kick 50+ yard field goals instead of making you play the field position game and you can win another BCSCG.
One last thought. If you guys beat Alabama at their house earlier in the year, what does that mean if you lose to them in your back yard now? Does it mean you played your Super Bowl against us and are just deflated from here?

Your 2006 team was really good. Def better than this year. Tough when you have young and inexperienced tackles playing on both sides

Last year was the razorbacks best chance with rm. They will never have a qb like that again, including Wilson. And next year you lose 6 starters off defense and three of your top receivers. Good luck with that

The 2006 team that started the year by getting smoked by USC 50-14 and then lost the last 3 games of the year to finish with 4 losses is the best team Arky ever had in the SEC?
