Gimme a break, there has been more made about Petrino than the coaches trying to get into fights after games. A lot of fans, including you, have no idea what happens on the sidelines, and it is a lot cleaner today than it was 20 years ago and longer.

I do wish Petrino had comported himself better but I'm willing to give him a mulligan this week. He's not ever acted like that before, do you think there might be a relationship?

Oh, and it was definitely a fumble and 95% of Razorback fans have said as much. Our coach and local media is a pathetic joke.

Well, I think we were setup to win that game. We were up 14 early on and no one has had LSU down by 14. The refs took out momentum with their ridiculous play review on every positive play we made.

With that said, I as a fan am happy with 10-2 and a pretty good bowl that we win.

As BMFP said Fu@kallyouMuthaFu@kers

I wish it wasn't a fumble because it definitely helped take the wind out of our sails, but it was a fumble. When I first saw it, it looked pretty clear that he was on his back when it came out and I wad furious. Then one of the replays showed that it was clearly coming out while he was falling.

I actually thought it was one of the better called games I have seen in a while. There was a PI or two on both sides not called, but they would have evened out anyway...

We got beat and the biggest blow was the punt return, not the fumble...the two together so close really sucked though. From 14-0 to 14-21 in a few minutes is hard to overcome except maybe in the defenseless mwc...

As to the coach yelling shite, who cares. James Franklin curses at press conferences, starts fights with opposing coaches, and seems to teach his players to play dirty to make up for the talent level but we all think it is cute because it is Vandy...

Two different articles in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette this morning says Dennis Johnson was on his back before he fumbled the ball.

Arkansas - never loses a game to us, only gets screwed out of it

Besides it being a pretty obvious fumble on replay, since his knees, elbows, back and butt we're not touching the ground, and the ball was clearly loose...did the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette mention the 2 blown calls against LSU where there was an obvious block in the back on their fumble return for a TD (where the guy threw up his hands right after he did it, LOL) or when Cobi Hamilton's ~15-20 yard catch and run where he stepped out of bounds TWICE clearly on replay turned into a "60 yard catch and run"?

Take away the fumble and the penalties against Arky and you they still lose, only a true moron would see it differently.

I have not seen the replay on TV but the replay at the stadium looked like a fumble to me. DJ has been prone to fumbles all season, he just needs to hold onto the ball and it's not an issue.

Even if he hadn't fumbled, we'd still have the same outcome. We lost to a better team.

That may be true but you are completely disregarding momentum. FTR, I do think it was a fumble and, clearly the better team won. Take out the second quarter momentum swing and it would have been a lot closer game.

Who the frick is Dennis Green? It looked like a fumble to me BTW.

When we were watching the game, I initially told my wife that he was down. They showed the first angle and I said there was no way they'd overturn on that. You can't tell anything. Then they showed the view from the Arkansas backfield. There were a bunch of players moving in front and I said that we weren't going to get a.... wait a sec ... money shot! Fumble! That's getting overturned.

Which replays would those be?

Maybe you are thinking of when LSU was driving in the beginning of the 3rd quarter, running at a quick pace, and all of a sudden the refs had to stop play because of a "kink in the first down chain." Giving time for Arkansas to compose themselves and what happens on the very next play? JJ throws an interception.

Does anybody realize it has nothing to do with him cursing, but the manner in which he cursed? i.e. Pointing his finger across the sideline and saying, "f you, motherf'er." We all know that coaches curse, yell, scream, kick, whatever. But to point at another coach and say something to that effect... Yes, that should be condemned.

Yeah, I'm sure he was upset about something. God, I hope so. But still, you can't do that. You either condemn or condone his actions. If you condone it, then you're just as bad.
