He took a $2 million pay cut to come to Arkansas.

Big difference pigs then what you did with 2 losses and what we did. We won some hardware and at the end of the day BCS AND AP had us at #1.

How is that anywhere close to what you did this year?

Bottom line we beat the teams we had to beat to Win NC you beat the teams you had to beat to make Sugar Bowl. Apples to Oranges. Congratulations

If I was a Hog fan, I'd relax until I heard Bobby say the words, "I will not be coaching at Florida next year."

That's the kiss of death.

National championship coach making top dollar at an elite program. Why would anyone bother?

Petrino, on the other hand, is at a coaching death trap where he'll never--EVER--win a championship of any kind.

Hope that answers your implied question.

Nobody's trying to hire Saban away from Alabama - wonder why that is?

ETA: In all seriousness, I met Jeff Long at a NYC Arky alumni charity thing Monday night, and he seems like a pretty great guy. Ronnie Caveness was there too (induced into the CFB HOF the next day with Cherry Snowball and Gene Stallings); Caveness was a really nice guy, and I was glad to get to talk to him.

Miles was rumored to be a candidate at the elite Colorado at one time...

Where would you rather be?

Arkansas fans are happy being in the Sugar. Petrino and the Gators would rather be in the BCSCG.

The idea that Petrino is going to Florida is a joke.
If offered, Petrino would bolt in an Atlanta Falcons second.

Mallet will be gone at Arky, and UF's 2nd team has more talent than Arkansas.

And you guys claim a 1964 National Title awarded to you by the East Arky Soybeans and Taters Association whereas, UPI and AP gave it to Bama.

Funny thing is that apparently Florida's first team sucked pretty good this year. If their 2nd team is better than our team - then you should be very worried about your team (we won a couple weeks ago, remember?).

We have a good team. We beat the team that won the East without any trouble.

All the talk is clever until you really take a look at it. I think Petrino is a great coach and that is why teams are calling. Time will tell regarding the open jobs...

The key is that the Gators don't have a choice. They are not invited the the BCSCG. We are invited to the Sugar - why not be happy? If you think we wouldn't trade the Sugar for the BCSCG, then you are not too sharp.

Dos crystal said that we are only in the Sugar Bowl because we backed in to it. He was just pointing out that you were only in the NC game because you backed in to it. Pot meet kettle basically.

nope, lsu won the west and s.e.c. in 2007, they beat v tech to get them into the n.c. game. THEY WON SOMETHING.

the hog's are in the sugar w/o winning a division or conference title. can't see the difference?
