ohh no he's on paid admin leave to show the nation that Arkansas is taking action. I fully expected him to return to practice this week. Not a very bright man are you? His title is still head coach at the University of Arkansas and he is being paid as such. Even if he is suspended the first of the season, he is still the head coach.

LULZ! You know Administrative Leave is just the university getting their ducks in a row to fire him, right? they are making sure they can show cause to not pay him his buyout. You have to be put on Adm Leave to accomplish this. But go ahead and keep believing be there buddy

Kirby Smart is much higher on the list than Petrino will ever come close to being. Petrino would be very very far down the list if Dooley is fired. The best thing for UT is for him to win this year and keep his job.

If I were Tennessee I'd grab him in a NY minute. Tennessee can recruit with the best of them when they have their shite together.

He has to be much higher than Kirby. Saban is a great coach but damn, every assistant coach of his can't be the next great head coach.

he is on admin leave but still talks to all his coaching staff everyday via voice and text calls. He is still in charge until all this can be cleaned up. I think he is Arkansas football right now, he will be our coach on a full time basis soon.

You think this is going to pass over pretty quick, or drag on for a while? How does the press in Arky treat Petrino?

Petrino can't recruit. It doesn't matter if he came here, he still wouldn't bring in top players. Vandy had a higher ranked recruiting class than a top 5 arky team. It doesn't matter where Petrino goes, he just can't recruit. Petrino will never win a championship.

He isn't. If Dooley is canned, UT is going straight after Kirby Smart. All the insiders have pretty much guaranteed that.

Arkansas does not have any morals. They just wanna win. BP will come onstage with his wife and kids, read a lame apology letter and sing pig soooieeee..... Everything will be forgiven.

Incorrect.

""[A]n isolated instance of favoritism on the part of a supervisor toward a female employee with whom the supervisor is conducting a consensual sexual affair ordinarily would not constitute sexual harassment, when such sexual favoritism in a workplace is sufficiently widespread it may create an actionable hostile work environment in which the demeaning message is conveyed to female employees that they are viewed by management as “sexual playthings” or that the way required for women to get ahead in the workplace is by engaging in sexual conduct with their supervisors or the management."

How would the SECr feel if Arkansas suspended him without pay for X amount of games and fined him X amount of money?

This seems to be what is floating around at the moment.

They can't really afford to fire him, but they almost have to now. Tough spot for them.

This shite was funny at first, but now it's boring. Every joke that could be made has been done to death.

Basically, I'm out of funny things to say so I think we need a new scandal.

Arkansas will work out an exit package with a non compete stipulation that would prohibit Petrino from taking an SEC for the next couple of years, this is very commonplace in the buisness world when a high achiever is terminated.

in before houston nutt, he was not a 'high achiever'

Arkansas wont have to pay him a dime to fire him

He is on administrative leave so the lawyers can advise the President and AD what to do and what they are up against if they keep him, and if they fire him. Thats all thats going on right now.

Oooooh but they can.

Absolutely they can. He's the head coach who goes into family's houses when he recruits, selling something along the lines of,"I'll show your son what skills he needs to become a man and make it after he leaves Arkansas, yadda yadda....."
Now this stuff. He's held to a bit higher standard than an 18 year old kid just out of high school. I'm praying it happens, personally. Couldn't happen to a "nicer" guy.
