I doubt that Arkansas will win a National Championship, but Bielema is still a good coach. It is not necessary to win a Natl Championship to have a good program.

As far as the Iowa job, not sure one way or another. I remember when Bob Stoops wanted the job and had an offer from OU in his hand, but Iowa would not simply hire him, and wanted him to go through the whole interview process.

Not sure Iowa would simply offer the job to Bielema and doubt that he would submit to the interview process.

It's not a schtick. Anybody with a brain and no pig colored glasses can see its a logical step.

He didn't come to Arkansas because he thought it was the long term solution for his career, it was the short term solution to his problem of working under an asshat like Barry Alvarez. It's also frowned upon in the Big Ten for coaches to take jobs at other conference schools.

Only way he doesn't end up at Iowa is if they don't offer.

So using this logic, if we lose Bret and give Gus a call then he will be our next head coach?
Am I doing this right?

It's nice to have fall back options, I suppose.

Given the frequency with which you post here, and the corresponding poor quality of the content, I can't imagine that your filter has ever determined that a thought you had is not worth posting. My goodness.
