Do you mean to tell me that Arkansas hasn't won 2 of the last 4 national championships under Bert? They sure talk shite like they have.
No, but we've won the Super Bowl the past two years so GFY

Absolutely. Winning is awesome

Good post.
I believe most Hog fans loved CBMFP. I did.
He is a genius and great game day coach. I was mighty disappointed when all this came down.
I am really impressed with how Coach Bielema is building a solid culture that will last. But, it is time to see some results. I think we will.

Ah,..... but the true test will be whether Bert can beat the likes of Texas State and Alcorn State. Fortunately, Arky avoided a rematch with Toledo.

I already new what the response from Arkansas fans was going to be. You guys blame Petrino for Bret's struggles because Bert is your guy right now. Now it's completely Bert's team so I look forward to a new excuse after this year.

Is Bret really better at recruiting then Petrino? I would be surprised if Bret was much better because his recruiting classes have not been great.

And we already knew what your posts were going to be because you're in every single thread about Arknasas and Bielema.

I partly blame Petrino for his struggles. His accident and scandal tarnished our program for a while.
I partly blame John L Smith for his struggles. John L Smith, enough said.
I also think CBB came in with a big head and got knocked down. He has adjusted and I expect him to improve. Otherwise he will get fired and wel will find another coach. It's pretty simple.
See you guys this fall. I hope it's a cold, nasty weather game.

frick no. Petrino teams were soft, penalty plagued and lacked defensive fundamentals.
On top of that Petrino was a real cocksucker to everyone around him. Petrino teams only once got close to beating Bama before they put the pressure on Mallett.
Bert's teams beat people up. Many of said we'd take our lumps while the Petrino players were rotated off the roster. Now that there's only handful of Petrino players left we'll start being a more complete team. We've had Bama dead to rights the last 2 seasons and the Ole Miss/ LSU shutouts.
We're still having issues with spread teams and can't seem to get a decent LB'r to save our lives, but we'll be de-emphasizing LB going forward anyway.
Bert is fun to be around, the athletics staff all love him. He'll have a drink w/ you on Dickson if you see if him out. The football program is no longer full of thugs who can't get good grades. We never have summers full of arrests like we used to.
Lots of good things happening around the program.

Bret fricks a hot wife. Bobby fricks someone else's hot wife.
It's a toss-up....

Everyone brings up records, but they clearly haven't watched our games. Go watch Pretrino's Hog teams play Alabama then watch our games with Bama the past two seasons. Night and day which team is closer to dethroning them. Not to mention Petrino couldn't even beat LSU with regularity and Bert is shoving every inch of his fat chode into them on a regular basis. We will continue our upward climb under Bret. It takes a while to take a system full of thugs and quitters and turn it into a disciplined team with a solid foundation.

Folks tend to ignore that Petrino was handed the keys to a damn good team... and then had the greatest class of Arkansas WRs and two NFL ready QBs dropped in his lap.
Is Petrino an offensive genius? God yes. He is truly gifted in that regard. He was given an amazing offensive machine and did well with it.
He also would have collapsed with what he had recruited for Arkansas.
Bert is, by no means, perfect. For now he is the best coach for Arkansas... if only because the power run/play action/pro style offense is a gimmick offense for the modern college game.

Yeah, who cares about winning. Every body loves a lovable loser. 6-7 wins this year and you will see how good BP was and how over rated Bert is. Last year was his chance.

You are becoming a bit to obvious. You need to mix your game up so that people will not automatically ignore you.
