Per one of his teammates at Vigor, Bama talked to him about greyshirt the week before NSD. Not a huge difference, doesn't make it any less shitty that it happened.
Karma kinda got Bama on the 2 DL they signed instead, one tore his ACL 2 months later playing soccer and the other has been a perpetual scout teamer at Bama.

we've known for weeks now that he was a maybe on going into the draft.
