Things would get interesting if Billy leaves. As long as he is at UF, UF will be in the mix. Losing 4 starters is going to hurt everyone.

Maybe, but your program is at a certain prestige that it shouldn't be hard to get a very good coach. Plus, you have a good AD that most likely won't botch the hire like when we hired Dooley.

Losing 4 starters definitely hurts, but I didnt imagine UF would be as bad as they have been. Having said that, no doubt in my mind that they'll be fine in the future, as will Vandy who has some good freshmen and a talented class coming in.

I'm sure everyone would like to have us on campus from a revenue standpoint. We also help everyone's marketing department come up with great tee-shirt and theme nights!

So you were good. That one time.

I'll take two games against Florida and Tennessee instead. Thanks.

Don't be a count. You get my point if you are old enough to remember the 90's. I gave Florida the props for being the big rivalry for the last decade. UT and Vandy......not so much. Stay on topic.

I'm not being a count. I'm telling you your shitty attempt at wanting to make Arky relevant is just that. Shitty. Truth hurts I guess if calling me a count is your best retort though.

I'd prefer to play teams that have done something in the last twenty years.

yeah because when people think of men's basketball the last 20 years tennessee is one of the first teams that come to mind. their glory is nearly unsurpassed.

They've been to an Elite Eight and a Sweet 16 since Arkansas last even made the tournament.

You haven't followed basketball since the 90s very much have you? I don't blame you though. I wouldn't either with that track record.

Football smack in a basketball thread.

And I thought you were supposed to be one of the "good" trolls Lat? For shame.

Arkansas is another Texas Western. They had their moment and they'll never recapture it.

I'll take the odds of Arkansas recapturing the moment long before Aggy ever captures their first.

It wasn't a deflection. It was a rejection. Quit being so hoggish.

And nice deflection of the subject of the thread.

What has Arkansas done since the 90s that gives them any reason to think they should be given preference in playing Kentucky twice a season? Florida had a similar handful of games steak recently but have also won some championships in the last 20 years. Tennessee has a better win percentage against UK and has been more competitive nationally in the last 20 years than Arky.

In other words, rivalry application denied.

I'll bet he thinks you have to answer him because he's from Arky.
