You mean to tell me that a head football coach is preparing for his first game of the season?

You've gotta be shitting me!

Weird arse analogy but yes, what Gus and company did last year was pretty damn impressive. He kind of has a history of doing such things.

I can't say that I've ever heard of a SEC football coach preparing for a game during spring practice. Not to say that it has never happened, I've just never heard of it. Kind of sounds like he's been shietting the bed since last November.
Again... he probably should've kept his mouth shut.

You're not very bright and it fairly obvious you don't have much of a football back ground.

I don't really understand this. Are you saying that we didn't prepare/get ready for FSU and it showed? By losing a close game to the best team in the nation?

Damn we were good last year. Guess that's a lesson to watch out this year.

It showed that Florida State played against a defense that was ranked about 10th in the SEC. They were lucky.

Compliments of Ted Roof

Actually, this is an excellent idea by Bart.

It's pretty much the biggest game of his career. Starting game prep 138 days out is probably wise in this case.

I nearly hurl every time I see that. Heinous injury that makes the Joe Theisman LT leg break look pussified.

He is the one prepping without a full roster.

Double work is dumb to me.

Every coach starts prepping for game one of the next season when the prior season ends.

Just as Gus started Arkansas prep after the title game. Just as Saban started prep for his first game of the season after last years game.

You're coming off as an idiot and uneducated football wise.

Really?

I never knew this and I follow my team pretty well. I thought Gus got into recruiting after the title game and then would get into spring ball, then volutary workouts, two a days and then start game prep mid August.

as is the auburn way.

gotta rely on gimmicks that take advantage of the system rather than actually putting in hard work.
