Not a surprise. Foster is Foster. If you've followed him at all then you know he's one strange dude and has been since his days at UT.

I still like him but then again I accept him for what he is: a dude that spoke ONLY in pterodactyl when the media kept asking about his fumbles at UT.

I wish these guys would just keep their mouths shut. If they get caught while in school, fair enough. But what's the point of bragging about it later and risking hurting the program they played for?

I defended his arse when the Vol nation wanted to go after him with pitchforks and torches.

I defended his mother on several Internet boards when other fans would be ripping into her. I used to talk to her in private messages. She was a really nice person.

The last time when he started that taco business I told her, if he has nothing positive to say, tell him just to keep his mouth shut.

That guy has a hard on for UT because he didn't think he was treated right by the fans.

I used to defend him, but frick him in the neck. I wish UT would ban him from the campus and strike him from the records.

I kept responding to his stupid tweets with a pic of a taco. He didn't like that

He has never been accepted or loved by the fanbase. Dude was just a weirdo douche that constantly fumbled in game winning situations.

I'm surprised he doesn't have a statue in Happy Valley for that performance

I disagree that he was never accepted/loved. He did have a rough go when the fumbles happened but imo he was just strange.

At any rate he's taking even more heat from athletes with this one:

quote:

Aaron Hayden @Ran4UT
Some of us athletes should've learned to say no comment or decline interviews and quit trying to shock people with our comments!#VFL#Respect

I think his shelf life has started to expire with folks in the know.

Holding a grudge for so long is for women. He was blasted by our fanbase for fumbling at UT but he needs to man up and let it go. Being a little bitch that he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps attacking UT.

I really think he does this shite for 2 reasons:
1. Attention, he's always kind of been an attention whore. Like the dinosaur thing, there were plenty of ways to ignore those questions that wouldn't generate questions
2. He's trying to make UT look bad bc our fans for the most part don't like him (for various reasons) and he holds a grudge

To those wondering how he was starving on a full SEC ride:

Asked if his financial situation got more difficult after he stopped living in dorms and eating from the dining hall, Foster said it was worse when he lived on campus.

"I think my check was like $87 a month in dorm rooms," Foster said. "You had meals Monday through Friday, Saturday and Sunday you had to fend for yourself. I guess that's what the $87 was for. At the end of the month you don't have any money, your family can't send you any money, a lot of those guys -- 80 percent of the team is made up of kids from the inner city."

Foster disagreed that a "free education" was a just reward, saying the education wasn't free because college athletes put in just as much work as professional athletes.
