Or did you leave another state to go to that school? If not, what made you become a fan? Not a flame, I'm only curious. I personally am from LA but attended college in Tennessee.
We have alot of new posters that i'd like to hear from.
Eta: if you're not, it's no big deal. I'm sure you have your reasons for being a fan

Left Georgia to go to Auburn, and then moved back to Georgia after graduating. Would like to eventually move back to Alabama and get a place on Lake Martin though.

I lived in Florida for a few years, but moved to Michigan (due to parents being from here and work opportunities for them) back in 98.
As for being a fan of UF, I remember the 97 FSU game specifically and just really being impressed as a kid (not to mention everyone at my school liked FSU, I didn't). I vaguely remember 96, though, I was 6 at that time.
Obviously, still being in MI keeps me here for college, but I still love the Gators

Born in Alabama (Montgomery), but my parents moved to San Antonio, TX, less than 3 weeks after I was born, so my earliest memories are from there and I spent most of my time there (military brat like Smoke Ring).

no but I lived in Tennessee for 20 years, mostly in Nashville. and spent the best time of my life (age 18-24) at Knoxville.

Born in Lancaster, SC just south of Charlotte, NC. Lived in Columbia for six years (four for school), moved back to my hometown for a better job and live here now.
