There's a lot more truth to this then many seem to realize. Besides, Texas would probably rather start a new conference it could control, then join one it can't. If they did join the SEC, they'd begin undermining the authority of other schools on day one.

Bringing Texas into the SEC would be a brilliant idea.

With Slive retiring we have a leadership problem.

All we would need to do is allow the horns into our conference and they would take over immediately and tell us what to do.

This may be the best idea ever...maybe even bring Dodds back from retirement.

I can see it now. We can cancel the SEC Network and then we can all beg to have one game a year on the LHN against Texas.

Plus we can finally get some Core Values.
