at first i was one of you anti-barn duck people. but now? my sec allegiance kicks in
so what if Auburn wins the title, im very comfortable with the state of alabama football right now and there is no need to fret over another team

Sorry. I really have never understood this angle. Sure in polite company you can say to a Florida, Alabama, ___ fill in the blank, "why I sure hope you fellows win your bowl !"
But sitting home watching it on TV ? Who cares ? Besides if an SEC team were to get waxed, the SEC is still head and shoulders above the rest of the conferences so no team's pre-season rankings for 2011 will be impacted.
Besides everyone recruits against one another and certainly big bowl wins and losses are used against one another.
That's not to say I'm not wanting particular teams to win ,but its not because "SEC,rah,rah !"
But sitting home watching it on TV ? Who cares ? Besides if an SEC team were to get waxed, the SEC is still head and shoulders above the rest of the conferences so no team's pre-season rankings for 2011 will be impacted.

i wouldnt be either except having attended Bama/Clem and Bama/Hokies, those fans got SO PISSED when we would talk about the SEC being way above the ACC and it was fun to piss them off. I did the same at the Bama/Ok State Shreveport Bowl.....so i talk a lot of shite at OOC games so i need the conference to back it up...even though i wont ever see those people again but i promise, a lot of people HATE our league

doesn;t matter to me personally what others decide to do, but I am pulling for all other SEC teams to win there games.

i see everything from the prism of whether i think at any particular moment, with or without articlable reasons, it helps or hurts LSU.

i have no idea why we wouldn't pull for one another. It's not like LSU is going to stomp some arse in the Cotton Bowl and come back to this board is and say, "Yeah, b*tch. Take that shite Arky and shove it up your f*&%ng arse - punks..." It's a good thing for the conference to do well. If we don't we'll all be on the same team in a couple weeks when the entire nation is on this board telling us all how overrated the SEC is and how we all need to STFU.

I tend to not cheer for the top teams like Bama and Florida. I don't mind pulling for the lesser teams like Kentucky and Arkansas.

Only teams I will cheer for are USC, UT, Arky, and Auburn

Lets see, Chizik was in Lousiana all last week peddling Popeyes to all our recruits. Sure, I want Auburn to win so they can take every damn recruit we have! Damn, some of you guys with this ghey SEC homerism. Its like Poland pulling for Hitler in 1939 because they all live in Eastern Europe!
