Hmm? As far as I know, PATs are functionally little different from FGs. You can do what's necessary to block it and have to be careful not to touch the kicker if you fail on the attempt. Same basic concerns and same basic freedom in how you defend the kick.

I could have sworn there was a rule about hurdling with the only exception being a ball carrier. Could be mistaken though.

Leaping over players, or the line is fine as long as you don't use another player to propell yourself up.

Yes there is one! That's how Auburn beat LSU when Saban was coach. They missed the XP and LSU was flagged when a LSU DB "fell" on an Auburn lineman.

You can't land on a player either. He kinda did but it would a been ticky tacky call.

IIRC, you can't jump on another player (as I using someone as a launch pad). Had he landed on the back of a LSU lineman and leaped for the block it would have been illegal.

He completely cleared the line and jumped again, which made the play both legal and incredible.

Hell, we got flagged for roughing the damn snapper earlier, so the coaches said shite just leap over em.

Yeah, that's a rule. No assisted (willing or not) jumps and no stepping on another player at any point in the process.

Some saying it should actually be five of the last of the last six and not "truly 5 in a row"
Dude, it is five straight. Period.
