Thanks for at least admitting that the ref missed the int call - that's way more than the Alabama fans I personally know are willing to admit. It's deny, deny, deny it all with them. Good to know that there are some reasonable Alabama fans.

I love Alabama fans saying how the LSU fans won't leave it alone. Who started this post?

Uhhh, that would be a 'Blame-a fan.

there were lots of judgment calls (or should I say no-calls) on both sides.

Most of which can't be reviewed. The block in the back, illegal hands to the face, non-calls on pass interference, etc.

It's the only call that was missed but it was a big one, so I see the gripe, but some of these people are going to take it to the grave.

The problem isn't that it was missed, it's that it was reviewed and STILL missed. That's what most fans are livid over.

Kind of demeaning to endorse the term "conspiracy theorists."

When we didn't have replay people would have complained, but really have no leg to stand on.

Of course they are going to look at the problem of game fixing when you actually have replay and an obvious call isn't made.

The replay rules have fostered in an extreme attitude. No one can deny that replay has helped, but it actually makes the bad calls worse rather than just "unlucky."

Game's over, not much anyone can change though.

The block in the back

If you're talking about Carpenter on Julio's TD you are sadly mistaken.

I don't care about the argument whether it was or wasn't, it's more about the fact that call could have never been made because it can't be reviewed. Separates it from the INT, even though it was on a critical play.

That shows nothing. Watch it live. The safety wasn't even affected by the tap if it was even that much. He got juked. Carpenter didn't have to block anyone.

He got juked by a ball carrier running in a straight line?

The call that makes me the most is the 4th and 5 false start. How they can make that call is beyond me.

Besides the INT the one call that I can't believe was NOT called was the spear to JJ. I mean at the beginning of the year they made a BIG deal that the refs will be watching for these hits against the QB in an attempt to take these out of the game! Hell, Urban Meyer just last week was fined 30g's when he brought the late hit on Tebow to Slive's attention. But yet no flag and Les lost his testicles and says squat about it!
