Peyton Manning can't hold a candle to Troy Aikman's legacy. Besides, Scott Frost and Nebraska lit his Tennessee team up in the split national title game. The Midwest produces some solid white studs.

Someone mentioned David Woodley.

David Woodley was at one time the youngest QB to ever start a Super Bowl (XVII).

Did Richard Todd win a playoff game with the Jets?

He and the Jets won two playoff games in the 1982 season. He then was beaten in the AFC Championship game by the Dolphins. Todd threw 5 interceptions in the game, three of which were picked off by A.J. Duhe, who returned one for a TD.

His biggest play in the Super Bowl was a pick thrown to Tracey Porter.

Just living out a dream of throwing a TD for the Saints in the Super Bowl.

Well, it's just laughable for the Alabama fan to say that Peyton Manning's teams won in the playoffs "in spite of him." Manning in his prime was a helluva QB and probably the smartest in the game at one time.

He did win some playoff games and was at one time the youngest player to start at QB in a Super Bowl.

If you want a laugh, think about Danny Wuerfell's record in the NFL (or is it "Woeful"?). If you want another laugh, think Tim Tebow in the NFL. Totally overrated players who were just lucky to play on great college teams.

I think Peyton is one of five best QB's to ever play the game. But, it took him six seasons to get an NFL playoff win.

Stabler was on great Raider teams which had tremendous O-lines and solid defenses. He won because he played on a great team. He threw more interceptions than TD's, his arm strength was nothing to write home about, he had a sidearm delivery and if he hadn't played behind a great offensive line, his immobility would have ended his career a lot earlier.

Do they still count as playoff wins on his resume?

That's what I thought.
