Or you could just make the argument that they're part of the SEC now and in their second year.

I'll let you make your own decision on A&M. I will speak to Missouri. Last year was an off year for them. When we joined the Big 12, I ignored Mizzou. Bad decision. Those guys will beat you if you don't watch out.

Missouri has had some bad luck and the loss of Franklin will cause some grief. But if you think Missouri is hurting the SEC, you need a reality check.

They will pull their load in the SEC.

They joined the SEC at a good time.

A&M got Manziel, they'd be a 6-6 team without him.

Also lots of SEC schools are down right now from their usual.

...not yet since TAMU manhandled Oklahoma in their bowl game last year. Ole Miss might not qualify for a bowl and they beat Texas easily at home. The SEC still gets respect. It has a record eight teams ranked this week.

Actually Mizzou has an all time winning record against SEC teams but flame on.

Congratulations?

Of course, you knew what I meant, and I'm right. Missouri has won one meaningful game since joining the SEC and it was against an overrated Georgia team.

Congratulations on maybe being on par with Arkansas and Mississippi State.

This thread is hilarious. The trolling is top notch. I love the backhanded compliment/troll to start the thread. Touche tigafan89

not as much as results like Oregon by 10 scores over Tenn, Rutgers over Arkansas, Clemson over LSU and UGA, Miami over Florida, etc

The SEC made its reputation out of conference (esp in BCS bowl games) and bad results in too many out of conference games would tarnish the rep more than A&M and MU doing well IMO

A&M and Mizzou haven't hurt the SEC.

SEC teams losing to Clemson and Miami has hurt the SEC reputation.

Wat?

They say there's no such thing as a dumb question, but you may have just disproven that.

If lowly Missouri beat 'em, then Georgia must've been overrated, especially in Athens where they had the SEC's longest active home win streak.

Your logic is air tight. Keep up the good work.

I wasn't trying to take anything away from the win yesterday, but it's not like I'm the only one in the country who has mentioned how banged up that Georgia offense is. As somebody else has said in this thread, Mizzou still only has 4 SEC wins, aside from UGA they've beaten UK, UT, and Vandy which is why I said maybe we should pump the breaks a little bit on them until they can follow up the UGA win with some more quality ones
.

The herp derp is strong all over this thread, but you sir are its apex.

Let me go slowly and use real simple words so you can understand what we are saying, k?

You say Mizzou win over Georgia not matter because lots of Georgia players had boo boos. Boo boos, you know, ouchies?

We point out that Mizzou very important players also had boo boos and we still outscored Georgia 13-0.

We point out that many many Mizzou very important players had ouchies last year. But that not matter to you when you slam us for how few wins we had last year. But when Georgia plays us when its players have ouchies, you say Georgia's ouchies matter.

That makes you full of shite.

Got it?

Good.

Yeah. 6-0 and 5-1 (with a TD loss to #1 Alabama) is really fricking up our image. At least last year we mudholed our OOC Bowl opponent. If anyone's hurting our rep, it's UGA and LSU losing to Clemson.
