Apprehensive is a great word for it. Bama looked awesome yesterday. All year LSU fans have been saying we need to get the passing game going. No one thought we'd go into Tuscaloosa and cram the ball down Bama's throat.
If we beat Bama, and I think we will, the storyline will be LF at 25 carries for 100 yards, 150 yards of passing, and a lot of scrambling yardage from our QB.

I would say a bit apprehensive.
That wasn't a bunch of scrubs that you gumptards beat yesterday.

If you guys just hold LF to 150 yards and 2 TDs Bama will win.
He is literally the only weapon we have in offense.
4-15 passing last night.
Pathetic.
One of the few reasonable LSU posts I've seen in a while. You probably run with that Negatiger crowd, right?

Meh, I'm not as concerned because Harris' mobility will help him and won't play worse than Lambert. We took you to OT last year with a terrible passing game and an even worse running game
Plus both of our lines are better than Georgia's.
Obviously was pulling for UGA to to win, but as the poster above said it was enjoyable watching them get destroyed for some reason. Bama's D is nasty.

If anyone has any clue about how a Les miles LSU teams knows damn well when it's time to face the Gumps, it gonna be smash mouth. He always has them play to their competition both good and bad.

Not an Alabama fan so I don't care what y'all do, tbh

Don't really care. It will be a fist fight in a ditch no matter what

Meanwhile LF is ripping shite up, so can't blame LSU for doing what works
True but like I said, our passing game is so bad that a good team doesn't even have to shut down LF to win. Just keep him 30-40 yards blows his average.
Our passing game can't make up for the difference.
I posted last night, half jokingly, that when we play Bama you guys should just line up 5DL, 5LB and 1 safety and just bank in the fact that our passing game can't move the ball.

If we play like we did last night the rest of the way we'll be lucky to go 1-6. No LSU fan will deny that.
Do you really expect us to play like we did last night for the rest of the season though?

LSU really needs to improve to stay on the field with Bama. Outside of the running game all areas need work imo

It's been smash mouth the last 4 times we've played. And what's the record?

I think the Bama game will be it's usual dogfight. Sure LSU seems one dimensional, but one thing LSU has that UGA doesn't is a mobile QB, which have proven to give Bama fits. Also, I think the weather really crippled UGA yesterday. Lambert was completely useless in the rain. Bama is much more suited for a ground and pound slop game than UGA. I think the score would've been closer with no rain.
The Achilles heel will be Harris' running capability. If the wr's can just catch a few balls, I think LSU can win.

You're not stating facts you're just being ridiculous.
Jennings only had 76 passing yard last year vs Bama with a worse running game and we played toe to toe with them. And Harris is more mobile than Jennings so will be able to make plays with his legs against them just like Jefferson did.
Yesterday's games didn't really tell us anything more than Lambert couldn't play up to the pressure, Bama's run D is really good, and our receivers need to get their heads out of their asses.

1. I really don't care
2. Why do you care what LSU fans think?
3. Shouldn't you be more concerned with your "rivals" think, Auburn and Tenn.?

Id rather the LSU team prepare for a threatening Bama team instead of looking at Bama as an easy win and not taking them seriously

This isn't 1950 the lines between freshmen and upperclassmen are not what it used to be. And yes under 80 yards on 21 carries is getting shut down

79 yards on 21 carries for Right at 4 yards a carry isn't getting shut down. And Fournette is playing slightly better as a sophomore than he did last year. Y'all are fricked.
