Are LSU fans happy or apprehensive about Bama's win?

On the one hand, we basically ruined the Chubb for Heisman thing. He did get his 100 yards, but he was absolutely ineffective when it mattered, and couldn't do anything against Alabama's run defense for the first three quarters.

This obviously leaves LF open to a Heisman run (won't have to split the running back vote).

On the other hand, Alabama showed what happens when your QB isn't good, and you rely on running the football with a great running back. You get pummeled by the defense.

Tough call I'd say for LSU fans.

LSU will not go undefeated.

Bama losing would have helped LSU a lot.

If you guys just hold LF to 150 yards and 2 TDs Bama will win.

He is literally the only weapon we have in offense.

4-15 passing last night.

Pathetic.

I didn't realize how bad Harris had been until I looked into it. Averaging 95 passing yard a game (124th).

He has 2 TDs in 4 games.

Meanwhile LF is ripping shite up, so can't blame LSU for doing what works.

Nobody thinks Bama is going away. We won't beat you guys on the ground alone. Fournette will get his yards but we're in for a dogfight.

If we do not develop a better passing game and also have special team improvements, we will likely lose the game. We are too one-dimensional at this point.

I heard quite a different narrative before yesterday.

I was hoping Georgia won, but that beatdown was surprisingly enjoyable to watch.

As Saban said, he designed his Bama D to go against LSU. LSU will need more than a running game. Right now, advantage Bama but not conceding that we can't improve in the passing game.

Why would I be happy about a divisional opponent winning an SEC game?

Fournette didn't need your help in limiting Chubb to secure the Heisman. While y'all's game against Georgia is making me more apprehensive about the Nov. matchup, if we can clean up terrible special teams and penalties, we will beat y'all even without a passing game.

After all, it was a penalty on Vadal Alexander and a special teams gaffe that allowed y'all to force overtime last year despite an 8/26 passing effort from our QB.

No one is going to remember that come Heisman time. They'll see his stat line and nothing else.

I'm 1000% aware of what you're attempting to do here but just in a meager probably pointless effort to respond with genuine football knowledge: If allowing a true freshman to run for 80 yards against a stacked Bama box is "shutting down" then I will be more than happy to see what he does to this year.
