Wtf are you talking about? He's never gotten in trouble, he works his arse off, donated $100K to charity, and his teammates love him. Where is this trainwreck?

Maybe he needs to start smoking PCP and murdering people like Urban's boy, Aaron.

Take a breath, my guy. The whole expectations not matching reality part of things.

What's the logic behind that? I'm legit curious

I'll ask, my boss and Cooper hang out all the time. I think it's for a few reasons...Cooper is loaded, they just want Arch to live a normal college life, don't want the media attention, or to cause drama in the locker room, etc. I'm just guessing but I will find out.

I’m guessing it is similar to Lebron’s quote this past week about Bronny’s draft status..

“Earned. Not Given.”

They want him to earn what he makes, in college.. in life.. not to coast or make money because of his family name or some other handout..

And if this is the case.. well then that explains a whole lot about the Manning family and why they are so successful in everything they do..

I’m sure Arch is helping old ladies across the street on Friday nights and not slaying pussy and 12 packs, either.

Arch has run through more tail this year than you have in your entire life. That's probably not saying much but still

Because he opted out of a video game? Or because he’s sitting behind a heisman front runner? Either way you sounds stupid.

Serious question, how is Cooper loaded? How did he earn his fortune? I just assumed he lived off daddy when he couldn't play anymore.

He’s a managing director of an investment firm.

So brave turning down that $600.

It's all about the money. If things work out for him, he'll be making millions. His agents have probably told him he could even negotiate a separate deal with EA.

Personally I think that's shortsighted, but I do see the reasoning. Others have done such things and it admittedly has worked out... for some....

You spent far more energy typing this post than if you would have just googled “Cooper Manning Fortune”.

This opt out is stupid. He’s a back up to a Heisman front runner. Unless Ewers gets hurt, Arch is the mop up guy this year. EA said the players will have to opt in every year. There is no reason Arch couldn’t opt in this year then negotiate next year.

This is just some narcissistic bullshite from the Manning family. “Focus on football” is code for bullshite. Getting a $600 check and a copy of a video game is really going to put him out I guess.

I'd love for you to explain how this is narcissistic.

This board just needs to be shut down during the offseason. Some of you can't seem to handle it.

“I’m told Arch is focused on playing football on the field.”

He can’t be in a video game because he’s focusd on playing on the field…. What a fricking chode

Good for him. It’s looking like a cheap knock-off version of EA’s heyday. They’ve already ruined Madden.
