That is a good point. Appalachian State is probably roughly the same quality as Bowling Green was last season. However, you guys are (should be) better than you were last year, especially the 1st game of last year.

I think BG were a bigger problem offensively, they had quite a bit of talent and exposed our injury-hit secondary pretty badly. They weren't that good of a team. We match up better with App state IMO

I think we'll defend Appy State better than we did BG. Not exactly sure about the offense, but we should score at least 40 even if we start a bit slow.

They're also traveling to Jonesboro to play Arkansas State. It's hard to believe they would have to cut those kind of deals to schedule these teams.
