but Notre Dame and LSU. COME. ON. huge names and huge recruiters who were exceptionally mediocre last year.

Maybe one day in 100 yrs or so regardless of the previous seasons results, Baylor too will be the annual measuring stick.

You don't like me saying Auburn will finish the season unranked. So what. Get over it.

Only 2 of the last 7 national champions were pre-season top 4.

They were both named Alabama.

I'm perfectly happy with my team being actually good than presumed good and actually bad.

VTs ranking will mean as much this year as it did last year. If Ohio State takes care of business they're in, regardless of where VT is ranked.

How do you figure? They were god awful at times last year. At best, they were mediocre. Their last four recruiting classes have an approximate average rank of #25. There is no influx of talent coming that was head and shoulders above what they had on campus. Their QB situation is awful if they still intend to start Brewer.

Sark might not even be USC's coach by kickoff. He showed up drunk at USC's biggest donor function of the year Friday night & tried to give a slurred speech & dropped a coupla F bombs on 2500 donors, athletes, athletes family's & kids & the schools Prez & Admin...

pissing off big donors can cost you a job - never understood why Sark got that gig in the 1st place...
