There's atleast three all Vestavia tailgate tents right out side the stadium. Plenty of tv's and beer.

I just don't understand the traffic and time sink of going to Auburn to watch a game on tv.

Are you new to the IB?

Thousands of ppl every year go and tailgate and ...wait for it...watch the game at thier tailgate on a tv.

Foreign concept for some that a college town is actually pleasant to visit even outside of football.

If you were an Alabama fan, it'd be a weird idea to you too.

I understand tailgating and going to a game, but just watching it on tv on location?

That stuff is weird to me, but whatever.
What do I know, I just had season tix for the Shula years and lived in Tuscaloosa in that timeframe.

You should try it. I will admit nothing beats being inside the stadium, but it is nice being able to drink beer all game long, piss behind a bush, and still close enough to hear the crowd noise.

If Bama goes to Atlanta I might try to tailgate in Atlanta, and by tailgate in Atlanta I mean Taco Mac.

To enjoy the atmosphere of gameday, see your friends, visit a city, share experiences, etc.

It's a unique experience too. I bet it was pretty cool to hear the TD against UGA for those outside the stadium.
