I see Vegas has the Cats a 16 1/2 favorite which seems like a lot for a game against a major conference foe. They did get blown out by Northern Iowa, however, so maybe this is justified.

It was an exciting game and a great way to finish the season. At least people will quit talking about buying out Mark Stoops for at least another season. I'd like to see us play Indiana in the Music City Bowl; would be a great rivalry game especially since IU won't play us on the hardwood. I'll be glad when all this football stuff is done so we can get focused on roundball and the nation's number one ranked team.

One thing I'll give Stoops a lot of credit for is the QB situation. He basically took a guy off the waiver wire who has basically saved the season for the Cats. If anyone had said Towles would be transferring and Barker would be out for the season, I would have predicted about 2-10

They have some major talent there. I don't know anything about their basketball team though.
