Anyone got a Eric Smith legal update?

I know this guy is the pride of the Auburn Tigers and showed what a fine example of an "all in" "God is with us" type person he is, but has anyone heard how his lawsuit went for beating up the guy on the sidewalk turned out. Did he settle? Was the suit dropped? Has it not gone to court yet? Seeing his kick to the head on the kick off it's hard to belive this guy would be anything but a fine upstanding young man.

your just bashing for the ability to - and thats cool if you havwe nothign better to do.
however if you go back and look through the posts, 90% of the AU posters (the rational ones) have said what he did was uncalled foir and he should have been ejected, and some of us (myself included) feel like he should be expelled from the team.

Poor Bammer. Watching AU win it all must have been hard. Of course you have call out Eric Smith and his cheap shot (which it was), because there's nothing going on at your university.
Having said that, it was cheap and he should've been ejected, IMO.

He was granted youthful offender status in the unconscious head kicking incident and plead guilty. Sentence was miss the season opener that yr and that was it. Civil lawsuits are pending still.

No, no, no... you've got it all wrong. See he didn't even know that he had sucker punched someone. He was living by the principle of "not letting your right hand know what your left hand is doing" (being a good, God fearing Christian, and all..).

We are 1 year removed from our own championship. We just finished our third straight season in the top 10 and will probably be preseason top 5. Also we should finish with one of the top 2 or 3 recruiting classes in the country.
