If so, how did you know that it was going to the football players and not the golf and cross country kids?

I was about to pull the trigger on the UGA one, but I couldn't figure out exactly which programs it was going to.

Nothing personal against golf and cross country student athletes, but they are actually costing their universities money instead of producing revenue, and their performance has absolutely zero to do with the number of new applications the university gets or the quality of kid that's applying. They should be grateful for what they get imo.

I have my own bills. Let the billionaires pay it. They love throwing money away.

If that were true, what a laugh we would all have at your fruitless expenditures.

hell to the naw naw naw. Im not rich, but if I was, there’s no way I’d ever donate cash to pay a player unless they signed a contract.

I did buy a Devon Achane jersey at the beginning of the season because he’s my favorite player who also represents good work ethic and character. Players get some sort of cut off of Jersey sales I believe. Adidas and A&M probably profit the most off of it which is bullshite but whatever.

Imagine paying $60k to go 5-7, have a recruiting class outside of the top 10, and a quarter of the roster in the transfer portal.

Couldn't be me.

Hell no.

A&M has plenty of money. My personal donation money can do so much more good, for so many more folks who actually need help in life, then any good that will come from giving a few extra grand to a sports department that already brings in a hundred million dollars a year or so.

I'd feel personally guilty for every dollar I gave to such a "cause" instead of putting it to better use.

If one too many LSU fans choose this as their hill to die on, the LSU football program would die too. But to each their own!
