The thing is even though your offense is good. It's going to make a mental error (dropped pass, penalty, etc.). The game is gonna feel like (because you are) moving the ball at will but at the end of the day it just wont be enough to keep pace IMO.

I think the game will be won by whatever team makes the least errors.

If we get to Manziel and rattle him a bit and he starts throwing it up - who knows?

Other side of the coin if AU comes out like early against LSU we probably lose.

BTW, just the fact that we are considered this competitive against A&M, on the road this year is a huge win for our program considering the nightmare of last year.

ETA: And I have said it before - I won't be completely shocked if this is a lower scoring game than predicted.

Using your logic means we win vs A&M.

You think highly of A&Ms defense, it seems.

I think it's going to be a high scoring game. Who knows who will win. Maybe the team with the last possessioin.

Auburn can if they can keep JFF from get a lot running the ball. Neither Defense is going to stop the other Offense a lot. It is going to come down to which Defense can make a play every now and then. That seems to favor Auburn.

Auburn has the best CBs, best pass rush, and is the most efficient team at defending the pass that A&M will have faced. Meanwhile pretty much every team that has played A&M has moved the ball and scored at will and Auburn is the best offense they will have faced.

Anyone else feel like this is one of those games EVERYONE assumes both teams will put up 50+ and the final score actually ends up being 28-24ish?

Sort of like the AU/Oregon game

I say both defenses come fired up about hearing how bad the suck and the offenses sputter for the first half before getting in a groove, leaving the game relatively low scoring

I get the feeling that A&M defense gained a little bit of confidence in Oxford, forcing Ole Miss 3 and out in a critical moment of the game. A&M rolls in this game. 52-28

So basically you're saying Auburn is better than Bama this year?

The stats are over the season. Not one game. Everyone else has had their big cupcake games to pad their stats too. Auburn just finally got one too. But the positive talk about Auburn has brought the anti-Auburn crowd out in full force.

No. But Auburn has a better offense, better CBs, and a better pass rush which is what I said. Bama has a better QB, WRs, LBs, and overall defense.

They should be able to score some points. No way around it: The A&M defense isn't exactly the "Doomsday Defense" incarnate.

The question is- is the AU defense up to a track meet?
